Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Case Wireless Charging Battery Cover - Black

Has some ups and downs. The first time I used it, it took a while to get it to begin charging; I suspect there's some sort of internal power buffer that needs to fill up before it works, which takes a while on the first use, but now that's fine. My main gripe is that it does add a significant amount of thickness to the phone - only 2mm or so, but that's more than enough to mean cases that fit nicely before don't fit at all now. Aesthetically not quite as nice as the original, with the word "SAMSUNG" simply printed on instead of the raised silver text on the original back. All in all, it works for what it's designed to do, but it's not perfect.

It works, but MAN does it limit your case choices!!! Seriously, I searched for hours to read forums and everything talking about which case could fit the phone with this battery cover on. Apparently there is only one. Some argue two or three, but still... come on! I might actually just buy the card to put inside instead of using this battery cover because I really need a different/better case, and I have no options as long as this battery cover remains.HOWEVER, for charging, it works great. And I know that that's what it was designed for, so I want to be fair in my review of the product. They should really warn you that cases will not fit after putting this on your phone. If you don't use a case for some reason, then this might be a 5-star product for you, as it works great, even thru the "one" case I have on it!

Amazing cover, tight body fit so it isn't bulgy and can still fit in my car holder mount with minimal effort which is built specifically for a Note 3 with no case so that should tell you how close to the original design they pushed to making this size. Great feeling case, works terrific with Samsung Wireless Charging Pad with 2A Wall Charger Black Sapphire that I got. Expected nothing less from Samsung and they did a great job here. Highly recommended for those of you who are sick and tired of dealing with a cable and plugging in and out while dealing with emails, text, and calls while trying to charge your phone. Really revolutionizes charging more than I though it would.

Fine quality, terrible timing. The wireless charging case came out way after the phone did, there's no way a case company is going to spend money on making a case for an old model. Even the Note 4 is an unlikely candidate for a new case design. Good luck finding a case that will fit. Dizitronic TPU barely fits. If you want a hard case you will either have to make your own, out of wood or welding, if you have access to a 3D printer you can make one out of the plastic resin. I measured my case with instruments at the engineering firm I work at, 10.85 mm total. You might be able to augment a hard case.

I wanted to give this a couple months before writing a review, just to see how well it would hold up. So far, no problems at all with it functionally. However, the added thickness of this cover makes it impossible to use with existing cases for my Note 3. This is a pretty big drawback that was not mentioned in the description. The convenience of it somewhat makes up for it though, since my charging port has completely quit working.

I got one for my Note 3 because the place you plug in the charge cord is wearing out, so very often it wont charge. I put this on my phone and laid it on the Samsung charger pad i have for my edge and it charged soooo fast! I've ordered my husband one for his phone plus 2 more chargers. I'm so glad this was available!!

I love being able to easily place my phone on and off the charger as i am a very busy person ! I always felt in the past that it was somewhat damaging to rip the micro usb charger in and out of the port as many times as i would need to each day as i frequently would get calls as i was charging my phone.I found a case that fits seamlessly and it's not expensive and it looks great and it's avaliable on Amazon !! It's the POETIC BORDERLINE BUMPER CASE - it's great !! Check it out :-)I highly recommend this charging cover !!!

Works perfect, even through my leather billfold case. It fits in the case with a bit of convincing, and charges right through it. No more Micro USB. I am VERY happy with this product. I bought white because I'm tired of digging for black things in my dark bag, but really I think Black is more stylish. inside the leather wallet case it's irrelevant. I am very satisfied with this.
