My son loves it!
My five year old son is in love with most things play-doh and this one is no exception! He absolutely loves it! He bugged me for months to get this for him and I finally bought It for him for Christmas. It's been 5 months since he first got it and he still plays with it at least once a week. It's well worth the price paid and I highly recommend it!

Great play-doh toy
We got this for our 5-year-old son. He always played with his construction vehicles in the playdoh so this seemed a natural fit.The "brick red" play doh is more fluorescent red - good for making cones but does not look like bricks unless you mix it with another color. I like all the tools that come with this and I LOVE that they store in the crane itself. Not really thrilled about the voice/noise feature - they could have done more with that but otherwise a good toy.

looks fun but isn't worth the money
the only good part was the small piece that made the building blocks. The truck looks fun but doesn't do much at all! Not worth the money.

Mixed reviews
My son loves this toy. But, from an adult perspective, it's poorly designed. There are so many places for play doh to get stuck and harden. The arm/stick thing that comes down from the crane for the attachments (mainly the wrecking ball), falls off easily. The crane arm does not rotate 360 degrees so my son ends up pulling the whole truck around and knocking stuff over. But, for all it's faults, he loves it. So I guess it's serving it's purpose!

The truck was very complicated to play with. The packaging was ridiculously hard to remove. Two of the cans of Play Doh were dried beyond hope of recovery.

An absolute HIT with our 20-month-old grandson!
I'd give this one 6 stars if I could. Our grandson loved this from the moment he set eyes on it. If your child/grandchild loves Playdoh and trucks you cannot beat this little combination. Our only complaint was that the texture of the sand colored Playdoh was, well, sandy which made it a bit harder to extrude from the crane. Highest recommendation for this Playdoh toy and we have a bunch of them!

Teaches creative play.
My 3 year old son loves this because play-doh is his favorite form of art. You can make caution cones, pave roads and build "concrete" balls with this playset. As parents, you can also get involved and start building a whole construction zone with your kids. I actually have fun playing with my son when he brings out his play-doh.

Best of the vehicles
We own the cement mixer, the garbage truck, and this crane. The crane is the best. It has the most play options, the tools are actually useful, and my son likes that it talks (and I find it not too annoying, compared to some of the talking trucks in our house). I'd give it five stars, but the black dough is horrible. It is super soft and sticky, tar-like, really hard to scrape up, and it stains clothes.
