Rain forest test coming up!
Heading to Costa Rica for the beginning of the rainy season and will update with results. So far I like the length being I am 6ft3. Also like the baseball cap bill. It’s like a porch for your face. My girlfriend is short and roundish and hers fits very good. Update ponchos are not waterproof and the dye comes off. Very disappointed with the product! Would not recommend at all. Girlfriend emailed them and got no response! Wonder what the sheets and pillow cases are going to cost me? Stay away!!!!!!

Nice
My wife didn't want a boring poncho for an upcoming trip. This fits the bill. The colors are vibrant and the material is good. The bill on the hood is a great addition as it keeps water from running into the hood or blowing in your face.

Dry and stylish!
My new rain poncho got my seal of approval right out of the package. It's made of nylon, not plastic, so there was none of that noxious vinyl smell. It's also thicker and heavier than most plastic ponchos so it doesn't fly up when you're walking in the wind. I wish the sleeves were a little longer, but that's a minor detail. The only thing I had a problem with, and it's not enough to downgrade it, was that the stuff sack was just a little too small and I had the dickens of a time getting the poncho out of the bag.The little LED flashlight was a bonus!

Great product with cool colors.
Thanks for making another great product available on Amazon. I really like the attention to detail with this pancho. I have a very large head and I am almost 6’4’’ and this fits great as far as I can tell. The hole for the head has a velro collar and I had no trouble getting it on. The sides are great with the ability to use velcro to close off the side. I think I will much prefer this over the metal or plastic snaps that other panchos use. The snaps always seem to get damaged and become unusable. We are expecting a lot of rain here in nc the next couple weeks, so I will test it out and try to update my review. The other feature I like is that the hood actually covers my hair and has a bill that is very smart. I’m not sure about the grumpy looks on your models, but I suppose they are supposed to be in the rain so eh. I think I would smile wearing such a cool blue and green pancho. The fabric reminds me of a North Face rain shell I had.

Colors are not true to picture.
The colors are much more pastel then the rich colors of the add. The stuff bag needs a bit more room so you can stuff it with out struggling. Otherwise it's a working poncho.

Good Value, Works Great
I bought this for fishing and camping this summer, but when thunder and lightning were rolling through with a blizzard today, I thought I'd see how it worked. It did great! Seriously, it's like a nice windbreaker material, very lightweight and I love the Velcro on the sides and on the V closure at the neck. Colorful, a bit "crinkly", when first unfolded but that shakes out fast. Definitely user friendly and large enough to make emergency shelter or hammock cover for one if you're hiking light. I'm buying another one for my friend.

Everything we wanted! Light weight, foldable, fun!
Based on reading other reviews of this product, we were worried that the ink/coloring would run/smear. We did NOT find that to be the case. We purchased four of these rain ponchos in different colors (one for each member of our family) to use at an outdoor music festival and for future use at theme parks for water rides (when we have regular clothes on and don't want to walk around sopping wet for the rest of the day).Note - we did not purchase kids sizes for our kids ages 9 and 12... we bought regular adult sized ponchos and they are just fine! On our shortest child, - age 9, the poncho just grazes the floor when she wears it, so we might teach her how to tuck or tie it a little so as not to trip - but we are confident that it will last a long time and she will grow into it.We like that they are not sewn, but instead have buttons going down the sides because it gives versatility to how you wear them, ie- if you need the sleeves to be bigger or if you need to wear a backpack under it. The hood has a semi-firm bill on it (like a baseball cap) so in a pouring storm, you would have a little roof over your brow to help keep the rain out of your face. The instructions also show that they can be strung up as a rain/sun shelter when not worn. Some reviews complained about not being able to fit them back in the bag for storage/transport. We did not find this to be a problem. You just lay it out flat, fold in the sides accordion style the way you would if you were narrowing a piece of paper to make a paper fan, and then roll it up tightly from end to end. Even my children could do it.I would buy these again - after seeing the quality and versatility, I think they are a very good value for the money. I would also encourage that they are a good gift for someone.

This thing is clutch
Portable, nifty, functional, durable. Life/sanity saver. I keep it in my car next to my first aid and car tools, I can't tell you how clutch this item was when I got stuck in the middle of nowhere. Not only does it repel rain (with the exception of your face and the sides), but the material is extra durable has been stepped in gravel multiple times due to my inattention, retains heat, and is less of a pain to clean and pack than a heavy duty rain jacket or an umbrella. You'll appreciate this when Mother Nature catches you with your pants down, where you have no other option but to brave the elements in order to do what needs to be done .When things hit the fan, this poncho may be the difference between being a prodigy (of sorts) vs being an unfortunate tragedyLike if you were stranded due to multiple mechanical failures and bad weather on a mountain with a dead cell phone...in wintertime...in the Pacific Northwest...for 46 daysThis will keep you warm and relatively dry when forced to work outside during sequentially unforgiving cycles of rain, sleet, gust, and snow.To be perfectly clear, this is no substitute to an actual rain jacket when you know you'd be working in the rain. IMO, this item truly shines as a backup for those unplanned 'inconveniences' when things hit the fan like it had for me to the extent that I would never travel anywhere without it.
