Bought these for my wife. She has a new 5 gallon fish tank that needed everything. They are gravel, but they do dress up the tank and they do look great. Fills in the entire bottom, though my wife does want to get more, for a little better coverage. So make sure you order enough, as it does not go real far.Very happy with this gravel and would recommend.

Bought a 2lb bag for a 5 gallon aquarium but amount was on low side (didn't think it through; one bag would do for a smaller sized aquarium/bowl/tank). Nevertheless, great starter quality and rinses well: takes about 10 rinses. Side note: make sure to wear gloves while washing if you don't want your nails scratched. To add: if you're a perfectionist and want to pick out the odd/different colored pebbles, it helps to soak it in water so you can spot them better. See attached pictures for color reference: 1.) pebbles as delivered in the clear bag, 2.) rinsed and soaked in water, 3.) what it looks like above water level.

I didn't get this for an aquarium, but for a craft project, so I was more interested in how the product looked than how it would be in a fish tank. For my usage, the granules were fairly even in size and color, which was my main concern. This will last me for some time, but if I ever need more in the future this is where I will get it.

Looked really nice in the tank, didn’t float up to the top which was nice.

Love the color however what I feared happened. 2/3 of my hermit crabs died not long after. I’m not really sure if it’s the rocks or just unknown reasons. I did rinse the rocks well but maybe it wasn’t enough.

I bought this as a topdressing for my new succulents. I was a little worried the rocks would be too big after seeing some other listings where the display photo looked much different than customer photos, especially because there were no customer pictures yet for this product. Luckily, they turned out to be perfect!

I ordered this for my hermit crab tank to put under the water and food so sand doesn’t get it in and it looks nice! pretty pearly white, the only issue I have is the gravel is a bit dusty. Overall a great product!!

After exactly 3 years in same tank, water became white & cloudy. Tried everything including buying a new filter, 90% water changes after 3-14 days, chemical water clarifiers, suction gravel cleaning, partial (1/2) gravel removal for cleaning, reseeding good bacteria. Nothing helped until I completely removed white gravel. Which is no longer all white.
