After upgrading my amp to a Denon X1700H to add Dolby Atmos, I installed ceiling speakers (Pyle) and decided it was time to replace the speakers that came with my older receiver. I opted for the Klipsch Black Reference Theater Pack 5.1 Surround Sound System, and despite their compact size, they were a tremendous upgrade.However, I wasn’t completely satisfied with the center speaker’s performance. While the rest of the system sounded fantastic, movie dialog wasn’t as clear as I’d like. To compensate, I had to increase the center channel volume by +3.0, which wasn’t ideal.That’s when I decided to try the Klipsch R-34C center speaker—and I’m so glad I did. At its current price, it’s a fantastic deal (likely due to being replaced by the newer R-30C model). The 5-inch height was a perfect fit for my TV stand, and it completely transformed my movie-watching experience. Dialog now comes through crystal-clear, even during action-heavy scenes, and I no longer need to tweak the center volume.While I still highly recommend the Klipsch 5.1 Reference Theater Pack as an excellent starting point, upgrading to the R-34C center speaker takes the entire system to another level without breaking the bank. If you’re looking to elevate your home theater setup, this is a no-brainer upgrade.

Initial review:A very crisp and clear sound from this centre channel speaker. Smaller height and depth profile that fits over fireplace mantel, right under my 70 inch TV, mounted on the wall over fireplace.Very good build quality and clean design.I replaced my 15 years old Yamaha centre channel speaker (a cheaper one) with this one, and I couldn't be happier. We now hear the centre channel sounds more prominently, and notes we didn't before. (Yamaha is an excellent speaker, no doubt though).My wife in 5 mts. from unboxing to installation of this speaker, went from, 🙄 What did you buy again to => NICE SOUND 😁😁The price is certainly a bit on the higher side then I would like to pay for, however it is your choice.REVIEW AFTER 1.5 YEARS:Still going strong and performing excellent. Replaced rest of the surround speakers with ALL Klipsch, and now the HOME theater sounds like in THX theater.

Combined with my Klipsch reference monitors and driven by a Onkyo receiver and amp this center speaker delivers crisp clean response and clearly defined lows. I especially love watching concerts with this setup. I couldn't be more happy with this speaker.

Upgraded my center channel and couldn’t be happier! Extremely crisp highs and mids! It replaced my 5 year old Klipsch center channel which I thought sounded good but compared to this it is a night and day difference!

Had 2 days was ok but not so great sound. a little boxy. I then put socks in port holes and sounds fantastic! However I am in a small apartment. If you have a big room you should get a bigger speaker. The long skinny center channel speakers were made to go below a tv like a sound bar. I have room for a bigger center however, again small apartment. Bigger speakers sound best at louder volume. Well I just can’t drive my neighbors crazy. My system sounds great with bookshelf speakers. So for me it’s really a five qualifier.

Great sound. If you watch National Geographic videos these are game changing. The center audio is used for the narration. They're an important part of a home theater setup. It's the best center speaker I've experienced.

Love this speaker for tv audio. Super clear sound. Paired nicely with Polk es15 front bookshelf speakers and a Paradigm sub.
