what is the least amount of time i can leave it in at morning ?

HAIRMETTO Serum is non-oily and is designed as a 'leave in' treatment. There is no need to wash it out until you apply more since new application of the Serum should be applied to a cleansed scalp. If you wish to wash it out for some reason, the serum should be left on for a couple hours at least because the ingredients permeate the follicles, delivering the DHT blocking ingredients right where they are needed. If you would prefer to have an overnight treatment, you may like HAIRMETTO Oil - designed for overnight saturation, but because of its oily nature its usually not as desirable for daytime wear when going out.

HAIRMETTO™ should be applied once a day and allowed at least 8 hours to fully absorb. As a general rule you would apply a similar amount as you would lotion on a given area of the skin. The amount of product used will vary from person to person as some people have very small areas of thinning and others larger. We have had reports of users with thicker hair having to apply more of the product to get an even distribution since the hair shaft itself absorbs some of what is applied to the scalp. It’s hard to answer for everyone because of various degrees of hair loss and different hair types. Some go through one bottle a month, others buy it every 2-3 months. If treating only the hairline 'cul-de-sac' areas, then one bottle may very well last longer than that. We hope this adds some clarification.

Can you use this and immediately put on normal hair gel to style?

Yes. HAIRMETTO® Topical Serum is a scalp treatment; your gel is a styling product for the hair itself. When using the Serum, massage it into the scalp. The remainder of the product on your hands will reach the hair strands, benefiting the hair itself. When you apply your gel styling product, try to avoid covering the scalp since most products will clog the skins pores on the scalp and interfere with the absorption of the nutrients in the topical scalp treatment. Styling products are for the hair itself.

How can i make sure i get the right version (stinging nettle) when i purchase? i've purchased twice now and had to return due to getting the wrong one

Hello, I just saw this question now so would like to still answer it. There was an issue with the barcodes being stickered wrong for a few weeks in the summer 2019. The issue was rectified by September and all product that was shipped incorrectly was replaced at no expense to the customer. The serem tingles scalp awakening follicles

I added this to my daily routine to fight hair loss, I can say I really feel more thickness in my grasp of hair returning, it is not instant but gradual, iam using a shampoo as well as 1 other hair growth product for about 5 months in so far it is hard to say if the combined use of products is helping the most over another but since adding hairmetto I believe regrowth over time is a possibility

Don't see any improvement after 6 months

This product smells nice and is good for hair styling, that is about it. Have not noticed any difference with hair density. Too expensive for what it is

Works well but stinks

The serum works well in that it absorbs into skin and leaves a tingling feeling. But it has a VERY strong odor that my wife complained about a few times. If they can figure out how to make it odorless, I would buy again.

Great product for hair and scalp

Packaged well and a consistent product. I use this in the morning time and leave in and style once dried. Feels great on the scalp and helps fight the DHT during the day. It helps in keeping my hair and maybe small increase, but I would start using this early in your hair loss practices.

Feels great but not sure how well it's working.

I certainly prefer this one to the oil based product. Feels really good & fresh on the scalp & doesn't effect your hairs look compared with the more oily counterpart. My head certainly feels healthier & have retained some hair since using (over the past several months now). But can't be sure if that's placebo or also down to microneedling & head massages which I also do. Will be keeping this in at least once a day application for now though.

Very nice alternative to rogaine or minoxidril

It does not work over night, but with patience and consistency, over time, this product will make your hair grow back. There is a window of time where you can save your follicles. If your scalp isn’t shiny and hard, I would highly recommend this product. It’s worth the $60 a month for me honestly.
