This is a good ink cartridge for the appropriate HP inkjet printer. The print head is part of the cartridge, so you get a new printhead with each cartridge. Some other types of inkjet printers use the same printhead all the time, which could have clogging issues down the road.

I have always used the XL high-yield cartridges. They do seem to print substantially more pages. I've never had a problem with the HP genuine cartridges. Having said that, like most tiny printer cartridges, they are so wildly overpriced for a small plastic cartridge with a squirt full of ink. But what can one do except pay the price in a market where all the brands do the same gouging.

These HP cartridges are easier to order using this source and the quick delivery has some value. But when I have time I usually order from another source at a much better price.
