The Art of Persuasion: Winning Without Intimidation Paperback – March 28, 2013

I really enjoyed this book. Bob Burg does a great job presenting some practical conversational tools that can be and are effective in creating interactions with positive results. Although none of the information presented is revolutionary nor supported by any psychological studies, the premise of his advice is based upon the Golden Rule. This book is equally useful either as a quick read if you're looking for a crash course, general-theory-type understanding, and as a tool for slow-reading and heavy contemplation. Ive only read a handful of self-help books, but I can honestly say this is one of those books I will re-read every couple months to reinforce its lessons. Do yourself a favor and purchase this title.

Bob you are fabulous! Thank you so much for your books. I absolutely loved this one too! This book is filled with so much useful advice not just in how to persuade others but in how to become a trully fabulous person through kindness, respect, and compassion for others. This should be taught in schools. This book is brilliant I will be re reading it and instilling all the lessons and advice into my being. Thank you once again for a beautifully heart centred book. Just a little side note, there are a few typos and missed words here and there that the edirors might want to spruce up. I have the kindle version. But other than that the book is a gold mine of goodness and other book referals. I have alot of reading to do now 😊.

I truly enjoyed reading this book. I myself and many others could take many recommendations from it. Throughout reading the book I have realized many things that I do could be done in a more respectful and caring way. I loved the examples the book gave as well as the stories. The stories may not relate to my life exactly as the experiences in the book but it is very broad in the way of using the techniques for any situation. I have and will continue to keep molding myself in my work and everyday life with techniques given. Even if you are not trying to sell something or yourself this book will genuinely help shape you into a better person.

The art of persuasion is more or less about the things we already know, but it has be written in a really informative way and easy to understand, learn and adapt into your daily life.I love how he explained different strategy to use in different situations. People who are beginner about persuasion should read this book.

Bob Burg presenta ideas prácticas y fáciles de aplicar, con ejemplos claros que hacen que el contenido sea muy útil tanto en el ámbito profesional como en la vida diaria.Me gustó especialmente cómo se enfoca en la persuasión ética, destacando la importancia de construir relaciones genuinas y aportar valor a los demás en lugar de simplemente intentar convencer. Además, el lenguaje es accesible y directo, lo que hace que sea una lectura ágil y amena.Si buscas mejorar tus habilidades de influencia de manera auténtica y efectiva, sin duda este libro es una excelente elección.

Great, short read, worth every minute.The type of book you should read in chunks, read a chapter, implement it, practice it, then move to the next to expand the practices deeper into your day to day interactions.

Bob Burg is a Napoleon Hill and Dale Carnegie clone. He really doesn't add much to what these authors have had to say already with the exception that Burg does attempt to add some NLP concepts. You can do better.
