Got these grates the other day for a S-435 from Costco. They fit perfectly and look very attractive (at least to me). Compared to the stock grates, these are substantially heavier. I got these because I use my grill as a pizza oven with pizza steels, which are quite heavy. I was worried that using 2 steels which are .31" thick (which I think could weigh 25lbs each) could bend the stock grates. After I installed these, I would say it would be impossible for these steels to bend these grates. I think there is also a picture from another purchaser who showed that the grates didn't have a slight extension on the end to evenly space the grates. I was curious as to what impact that this might have, and I don't think this would make any difference whatsoever. When you install all 3 grates, the maximum space between the grates is even smaller than the spacing of the existing slats. It just that if 2 grates are completely pushed together and the other two grates are maximally spaced, the gap is still smaller than the slats on the main grate. These appear to be high quality and should last as long as the grill.

I purchased the 9.5mm stainless triangular grates. Wow, these are substantial and gorgeous. Probably 12-15 lbs each. They fit my Weber perfectly, no issues with being out of square as others commented on. Quality is immaculate. The only thing that seems odd is the finish on the stainless is not shiny like I usually see with stainless steel items. At first I thought they were powder coated, which would be bad. But looking closer and a little research, I think it is some sort of “blasted finish”. Hopefully they will hold up far better than my old cast iron grates that disintegrated over time. If not, I will update my review.

Well made and very nice. Make sure to season the grates before you use them. Amazing how well it is made - so much better that the grates that came with my Weber.

Very nice replacement rack for my Weber Genesis! Seems very well made and heavy duty. Definitely 304 stainless because I checked it with the magnet.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of these grates. I had originally purchased a complete rebuild kit for my grill but the burners and other parts were not the correct parts for my grill. I looked at genuine Weber parts from my local Ace Hardware. The SS grates alone were $203. These are just as nice and packaged way better than those. As for how they hold up over time, it's hard to say. They retained a somewhat tarnished appearance after first use. Even after thorough cleaning. I'll update after a few more uses. For the price I could replace them at least 3 more times vs the Weber ones.

Very heavy duty. Fit well. I seasoned mine by coating with canola oil and heating at 450 degrees for 45 mins (repeated 3x’s); now they are non-stick. I prefer seasoning vs buying enamel ones. I would definitely buy again (in fact, I just bought their griddle).New Weber grills are $600 - $900. I am still using my 2007 genesis E320. This is my 3rd time replacing everyone but the manifold, which is still less expensive than buying a new one. My goal is 10 more years, and with quality after-market parts, like this, I can do it.

These replacement parts are top quality. They are heavy duty and are packaged very carefully so that they avoid shipping damage. The grids and covers are easy to install and depending on your other grill parts or fire box will extend your grill life significantly
