Super fast ... great as a Ventoy USB boot device for installing OS'sIt does get a little hot when you are putting it through the paces and the little magnet that holds the cover shut fell off almost immediately so it flops around but the drive itself is the best ive found speed wise

Does not work as designed as the USB c port is non functional and Amazon was no help said to go to manufacture so I emailed them with no response yet!I needed this now so having to use on slow USB a side. This was my second flash drive from this manufacturer and now don’t trust the other as was just a back up to my primary flash drive for DJ’ing so will purchase reliable sandisk for flash drives as have owned about 10 and never any issues as well as 10 or so crucial drives that also just work and keep working.Update as of 8/31/25 I did get replacement which has been working perfectly especially with my iPad Pro as is super fast and don’t need a doggle like current 14 pro which will be fixed when upgrade next as will be USB C 3.2 was added with 15 pro but still works great with my old apple camera adapter which was USB 3 but only for my old iPad Pro that was still lightning.Do you have affiliate programs? As I am a professional DJ and a professional photographer so had also looked at making a device like this in 2019 so had gone to manufacturers at conferences in HK and Taipei but had nothing similar to what I was looking for which is exactly what us professional artists need especially when traveling and limited cell or WiFi to back up our large files.Thank YouMichael Brisson

Just started using after unpacking. Works as advertised. Very fast transfers.

I use it for booting my laptop and it's as fast as the SSD. I do have generation 3.2 X2 and thunderbolt. It does get kind of warm and I did put an aluminum heat sink around it. I don't think this is necessary but if you want to use it for long periods of time it'll probably extend the line of the flash drive. Even with the small heat sink it is easy to carry around. I have decided to have several ways to boot my laptop for specific tasks. For example I have one that just goes to the bank and no other place and then another if I want to do video and photographic work and on and on. By using USB sticks or an SSD you can design your laptop to do specific tasks and eliminate all the clutter running in the background You can also have one that goes to malicious site. However, flash drive has one drawback. I have a SSD cloner and I bought adapters so I can plug it in with the flash drive. The cloner will not clone the USB drive. However I would recommend easeus clone tool. I have used other cloning software and all I get is the dreaded blue screen. This software can even put an operating system in a smaller drive. I hardly recommend using several different flash drives for different tasks. It is and extra protection for malware for sensitive data. If you're really paranoid. You can go into the computer and disable the computers hard drive. In this way there's no link between the different external drives.

This Flash Drive is fast, well made with having a metal frame. However this item has one big annoyance. The USB-A side of the cover does not stay closed, the magnet is weak and has no firm clasp like the USB-C side does. I am not sure if this one is defective or or just the design.
