The media could not be loaded. A handy product at an unbelievable value!I chose the "vlog" kit specifically to get the phone mount. And to be honest, I'd almost pay this price for the camera mount alone!Easy to use, Intuitive controls. Build quality (both the monitor AND the mount) is great!Image quality is decent, more than adequate for its purpose. It is "visible" in direct sunlight. But as it is a glossy screen, there is a great deal of reflection. So if outdoor use is big thing for you, i would consider getting some kind of anti-glare overlay or finding/making some sort of sunshade for it.Connection and setup is super-simple. You don't have to download any additional apps or anything. The monitor has its own WIFI signal that you connect to, then simply screen mirror. It boots to an on-screen QR code that you can scan to auto-switch your phone to the monitor's WIFI. But to be honest, I find it faster and easier to just choose it on my phone manually, as I don't have to be there at the monitor to do it.I didn't really care about the little key fob remote thingy. But that has proven SUPER-HANDY to trigger recording without having to walk back and forth to the camera. It paired up quickly and easily following the included printed instructions (not that you really need them - it's just like anything else. just turn it on and choose it from your bluetooth list) it is however, a little plasticy and cheap-feeling, so i'm not sure how it will hold up over time. But it works great currently, without any noticeable lag or hesitation.It advertises a 3-hour battery life. I can neither confirm not deny that, as i've only used it for about an hour at a time. But I have no reason to suspect it not living up at least within reason to its claims.One little odd thing, there is a tiny bit (like 2mm) of overscan (monitor image is cropped) when your device is turned to portrait mode. But it's minor, and considering this is just a framing monitor, it's hardly worth mentioning, and of course, it won't have any effect on the recorded image.Overall, I consider this a super product at an amazing value.

I bought the SmallRig Wireless Display Adapter Vlog Kit and while the accessories are great, sturdy phone clamp with MagSafe quick mount, phone stand, wireless remote, and charging cable. The performance was disappointing.Using it with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, the video feed runs through WiFi screen mirroring, but there’s noticeable lag and occasional disconnections. To reconnect, I had to power cycle the display, which is frustrating. Even though this device is not intended to be used with an iPad, I tried to connect it but it didn’t work. The video feed was distorted. I couldn’t test it long enough to give a truthful review on battery life.Overall, the build quality is excellent, but the wireless performance with its repeated disconnects make it better suited for light, casual use rather than professional setups.

Just what I needed to film vlogs or short films. SmallRig makes great video and filmmaking gear and lighting. This monitor is easy to set up. There is very little lag in the monitor's view. It connects quickly to your phone. Works well and functions smoothly.

They say this product lags a little. It lags a lot! Too much to even use the product, really. I have 1gig internet and great WiFi. Find another product.

This is a solid kit for my iPhone 16 pro. The small tripod is great and the remote is a plus. The mounting attachment is also a great touch.I’ve tried the monitor and it’s pretty good, setup is easy via screen mirroring and it’s not as laggy. I just use it to frame so I don’t need it to be lag free. Overall a great bundle for the price.

Easy to use

This monitor is super fast to set up. Just scan the QR code and turn on screen mirroring. I like that it doesn’t require any software or pairing so I can use it with good morning I am not different phones. The magnetic grip on the tripod it’s super strong. That display is not gonna come off. You can confidently move the tripod and screen around quickly with no worries. You’re very pleased. Great for content creators.

Unfortantly this thing is absolutely useless. You can be fooled by its good quality appearance, but in fact this thing is another useless tool that you will throw in one corner and never use again. Here is the problem. The device does not work in any 4k mode. As soon as you hit the record button, wether its 24/30/60 fps the whole thing will start lagging for 10-15 seconds and then freeze completely. After talking to smallrig support they confirmed that device is only good for 1080p and recommend using blackmagic app. But there is another BIG issue and that is orientation. When using blackmagic app in vertical mode (which 90% off all users do) the device messes up orientation and shows only in 1inch size screen on your smallrig screen making it comletely useless. Bottom line, it probably could be a great device if it the firmware ws updated but its not possible at this point. Also another minor issues, is that device frequently disconnects and then wont connect until you restart you phone and device.
