Can you put floor-cleaning solution in a steam cleaner?

Generally speaking, you should never put a floor-cleaning solution in a steam cleaner as it can corrode the internal components and void the warranty. We recommend using just water.

Is the green light suppose to stay on the whole you are using the machine. As I use the machine the green light goes off. Is this normal?

I believe that the green light either means ready to start, max pressure or at temp.
