Poor Design for Layer Cakes
Update 3 days later: Changing stars to 4. Seller was very nice and reached out to me. While the pans won't work me, they are still good quality. The seller appreciated my recommendation to update the description of the product.I purchased a set of 3 six in pans. While they are decent quality, they are NOT suitable for making a 3 layer cake. The pans are not straight sided. The base is just over 5 inches wide while the top is 6 inches. Very strange shape for cake pans sold in a set of three. I do not recommend. Better to buy Wilton or Fat Daddio. At least you know the pans will be appropriate for a tiered cake.

Perfect Size Pans
Excellent pans! If you grease them with butter and put parchment in the bottom, they give free very easily. Also, the 8 inch size is perfect for my cake keeper whereas the 9 inch size ends up getting ruined with the lid touching the frosting. And yet these 8 inch pans are deep, so I don’t have to adjust my cake batter for a 9 inch cake. They are just the perfect size! Not too big, but not too small.
