I was hesitant on this purchase, and definitely skeptical with the size, but it works well! Love the small size.It can be a bit finicky if you have a lot of bags to seal, but I love the compactness and the simplicity as I rarely use it - only handfulnof times in couple months when I get a big bag of coffee beans in the mail to split into smaller portions to freeze.

I want this to work. It’s a great concept. Sometimes it does - the heat seals the plastic all the way across. But then things get messy and the seal doesn’t line up right and you end up ripping the bag too far and then you’re never going to het that seal back so just eat the rest of the chips so they don’t go stale. I keep trying but I end up going back to the standard chip clips in the end.

Piece of junk. It worked great the first few times, literally just a handful of times, but then stopped working. I bought it on June 30th, and have changed out the batteries 2 times, it still doesn't work. It's a neat gadget, but not worth the money. Chip clips work better and don't require batteries.

Very simple to operate. Only drawback are the instructions. Print is very small. I made a photocopy and enlarged and much easier to read.

Spotted this item while surfing Amazon one day and had to give it a try. It has actually impressed me for the price I paid and we’ve used it lots so far. Takes a little practice to get the hang of sliding it along the bag you are trying to seal. I usually do it across half the bag and the spin the bag around and start where I left off and finish the line the rest of the way. Hard to explain that but once you try you’ll see it’s easier to do the way and keep the bag tight while you are sealing. Especially since some bags have a seam in the middle. . The sealing process is similar to a heat strip on a vacuum sealer. Just need to recognize that it doesn’t make it perfectly air tight. So far so good. It works well enough that you don’t have to worry about the bag spilling open or have to use a chip clip to keep it closed up. Some times it’s helpful to use some scissors to cut a clean line instead of trying to fight to get the sealer to go over areas of the bag that got torn or crinkled with the original opening.

I was skeptical that this small device would work as advertised but so far it has. It is not particularly well made but it does seal bags as stated. It is very lightweight and small. The on/off switch is tight and feels like it could break easily or degrade and fail over time. Sealing bags seems to work best center out in two steps. Build Quality is just OK, Durability - we will see over time.
