A very good general purpose sleeping bag
While I probably wouldn't use this sleeping bag on any ultra-light packing trips, I WOULD use this for most everything else. While not nearly as light as my nicer bag, it IS plenty warm, waterproof, durable, comfortable etc and a fraction of the price. Why beat up on my nice bag for car camping? What I really like most is the versatility. For warmer nights, this sucker can unzip into a blanket for car camping. For colder nights, zip the thing up completely and use the head pocket. I also love that I can unzip the feet separately to get some needed venting for additional comfort while still maintaining insulation. Helps get the moisture (and farts) out. I think it would be more honest to call this a 3 season bag, but hell, if you throw on enough layers anything can be a 4 season bag. Would it hold up in snow? Yes. Would you be comfortable in it? Probably not, unless you have a well insulated pad, some layers on you, and maybe some wool blankets for good measure. I think this is a great bag for anytime you DON'T want to use your x hundred dollar "nice" bag for car camping, visitors, low distance hiking trips etc. Basically anywhere where weight isn't your priority and you don't want to beat up on your nicer gear for "basic" usage.I plan on using this bag for my road trip /car camping trips, leaving in my car trunk in winter for emergency use and local camping trips with the family primarily. For those of you hiking the AT/PCT, this bag isn't for you. For the other 99% of us "normies", this bag would work just fine for backyard camping, cub scout camping with/for the kids, unexpected guests, emergency/prepper usage, road tripping or whatever else that would require the use of a sleeping bag.

sleeping bag
This sleeping bag was long, and that works for me! I managed to stay quite warm at night in a tent with temps around the mid 50's in the mountains on an air mattress. Rolls up good and fits back in the bag quite well. But make sure you order the correct side of the zipper, that was my downfall on this sleeping bag. I misunderstood it. R is for the side you sleep on, for me that is not correct. I should of order L for I side on my left side. That being said I struggled all night with that issue.

I was surprised
I'm positive that $400 sleeping bags will be better than this $35 one, but this is all I need. I'm not an avid backpacker. I'll be out there once in a while, so I wanted something cheap that could get me by. So for $30 something dollars I was not expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. I waited to actually use it before writing a review and It was great. I did a cold test on it. 30 degrees outside and I set it up outside a tent. Granted I was fully clothed, wearing a beanie and wool socks, jacket, etc. I was very comfortable temperature wise inside the bag. My feet were slightly cold but it was windy. This would not have been the case if I were inside a tent. So for $30 something dollars this bag is awesome. What is not good about it is is a bit tight (but I wanted to compromise in portability) and is noisy. So if you are sleeping with more people inside a tent it may be something to consider. But it pack down very small, is light and warm. Overall very satisfied.

Decent bag for the price.
I like the look and color of the sleeping bag; and really like the width of it. Can roll over easily and isn't too narrow like my last one; wider than most. However, their temperature rating like most brands is too optimistic. It is a high 40s to 50s bag, not for the 30s which I have tried it in. You will need layers added which I normally do, so I wasn't surprised any and expected it; since the bag is pretty thin. Especially at the bottom; very little support for the feet to keep them warm. The zipper is not good; unless you velcro it near the neck, the zipper will slide down every time you move. The hood was not designed very well either, too narrow or very little lip to it. Sitting up, put it over your head and it won't stay, will slide off. It is a good spring and summer bag for the price; but if you are camping in colder weather as I do, need more layers.
