This Batana Oil is the real deal...
I've been using Batana Oil for years. Lately, it is incredibly difficult to find quality oil. THIS Batana Oil is the real deal. The smoky scent and viscosity are exactly as I would expect from pure Batana Oil. My hair is smooth and shiny after each use. I suggest allowing the product time to sit on the counter(without it's lid), before using. This helps the smoky odor dissipate, as it can be overwhelming if you are not used to it. The size of this Batana Oil is generous and well worth the price. Give it approximately 12 hours to "air out" and apply as directed. I will definitely be sticking to this brand from now on.

A Miracle Elixir for Healthy and Strong Hair
From my spouse:A Miracle Elixir for Healthy and Strong Hair. Batana oil is truly a game-changer for hair care. This oil provides deep conditioning that leaves hair soft, silky, and incredibly manageable. After just a few uses, I noticed my hair felt stronger and healthier, with reduced breakage and split ends. One of the standout benefits of Batana oil is its ability to promote hair growth. It nourishes the scalp, restores damaged strands, and even helps combat hair thinning. It's a excellent conditioner, it’s also effective for tackling dry scalp, frizz, and even as a skin moisturizer. It's 100% natural.Overall, Batana oil is a must-have in any hair care routine. Highly recommended for anyone serious about their hair care!

Moisturize your dry brittle Locks.
This product is great for dry brittle hair. I would give a five star for the moisture and suppleness-it provides. Four stars over all for the natural smokiness and coffee smell. Use this product while at home place a cap on your head. The smell eventually dissipates that’s why they tell you to put it on leave it on for a few minutes and wash it out. I left it on overnight and reapplied it in the morning on some of my ends and then washed it out. I have sisterlocks . my hair is extremely long. And I used one fourth of the container so one container will probably provide you with four uses. If your hair is shorter you could probably use it more times. I would definitely order this product again, but don’t use it unless you’re ready to wash your hair.

Cigarette smell; didn't work
It seems authentic (compared to another brand I had bought) however............the smell is not that great. At first it seemed like coffee smell, but after rubbing into scalp it smelled like smoking/burning cigarettes. It's not horrific but the smell is noticeable. I wouldn't go out in public until after it's washed out of your hair. Hoped that it would help with hair growth but it didn't. The oil just made my hair fall out more.

Not made by Garifuna people
This is a very good review and to the point. I have lived in Honduras and I know batana oil in its raw form. I don't know what they did to this or how they had it processed but this is not what I was expecting. It smells like it it has kind of a consistency like it but I just think they're processing process makes it not as authentic as I am used to. I don't know if they mix it with something or what is going on but no no no it's not the authentic made by the Garifuna people batana

Authentic Batana Oil
I have researched various Batana oils advertised on Amazon. I am relieved and ecstatic that I chose this brand. It is the exact same texture, and scent of Batana oil I purchased in Honduras this past March.
