First time gaming pc buyer here. I got the i9-14900hx, rtx 4070, 64gb ram, 2tb ssd version. I have a steam deck I've been using since it came out. I was tired of some games i wanted not being verified, and some verified games not running that good, some run pretty bad in fact. This runs Oblivion remastered, wukong, red dead 2, cyberpunk, everything, great - no lag, no freeze frames, smooth like butter and on the highest graphic settings too!! You won’t find anything out there with these components for such a great price. I had to get a bigger backpack to hold it, it is 14 by 12 by 1.5. It has the colorful lights under the keys and i really like the style. I was worried because i had never heard of thunderobot before. So i researched and found out they are pretty large and well respected. I got one of their controllers too and it also works great. It is on the heavier side and the fans are as loud as an xbox, but man this thing runs games sooooo good!! I took a chance, and so far I am really enjoying it, and I do not regret this purchase at all!

I bought this laptop to run a specific program…Pixinsight. Which is a photoshop type program for astrophotography. The program is very intensive; needing a high speed main computer chip, plenty of RAM and 24 core processor. This laptop does it all and does it quickly. No problems with any of that. My only complaint is that you have to spend a few hours updating the drivers during initial install/setup. Other than that it is a great value for the money you spend.

Great laptop, and definitely worth buying.

Tengo la version RTX 4080, i9 HX, 32GB ram, es bastante buena y hasta cierto sentido estable, el único problema que he tenido es con el cargador que me ha fallado después de un año de comprarla. También hace bastante ruido así que compraste unos buenos cascos de ahí todo bien.

I ordered this laptop because of the absolutely gorgeous specs. However, it came with zero documentation and I had to go to the thunderobot website to download and install the nessesary drivers which thank God didn't brick my laptop. And the contact us button on their website is broken so there's no support available even though it says 24/7 support is available. I found an email address for the company and I emailed them a slurry of questions and I've yet to hear back from them. I had to use CPU-Z just to find how many mhz the ram operates at so that I can accurately/safely upgrade the ram. For being a high end laptop, I feel like they skimped just a tad on the cooling system as well. The fans are quite loud but still effective

So I don’t know computers that well got it because the parts looked like it was a solid set up especially at the price. If the sound of a cooling fan on an old car bothers you be ready because the fans are loud but it keeps it cool if you keep them on. I play high graphic games and it plays well and stays cool with the fans on manual full blast. I recommend for headphone users not for speaker users.
