Roller started bouncing can anyone explain why please?

Personally I would contact the manufacturer as these irons are warranted for 3 years and this should not happen. We have used one of these for around 18 months now & have had no problems at all, other than some of the paint pealing off on the back of top guard, but will be contacting manufacturer about this shortly
