Excelente price, great looking, runs nice. Do not get upset if it arrives with a piece that seems unmounted, it is a common thing with Kato and most of the time, trivial to fix (in my case one set of wheels was out of place). Kato is usually pricy (because of its quality) but this set has an affordable value (quality vs look).

I ordered this while on the road (I’m an over the road truck driver) I stay out for three months and when I finally get home to check it out, I find that the trucks on the power unit fall right off. And now it’s way past the time to get a refund or exchange or anything. I have no knowledge of how to fix it myself. I’ve come to know of KATO having a reliable product but in this case it’s really disappointing. I hope somehow I can still send it back for another one.

Looks great and runs great. just be aware that the couplers seem to be unique to this train. They work very well but do not work with any other equipment that I own. Of course I run this train by itself (not coupled to any other trains) so I guess it doesn't really matter.

I have lots of kato, track and locomotives. I really love their products. Unfortunately this one arrived defective and I returned it. This item has 2 drive shafts. Turns out 1 was dislodged during shipping and the 2nd one became dislodged shortly after running on the layout. Returning it was easy. I'll probably try again, but in the meantime, I'll have to find something else.

Excellent running train, cool led headlights and tail lights, very nice detail, runs smoothly.

The media could not be loaded. This is definitely an awesome train if running dcc please get the Kato dcc decoder the train motor will burn out fast if you don’t get the kato decoder for this train definitely worth the money
