Excellent Thermometer
Very pleased with this infrared thermometer gives me an indication of my cooked food temperature before serving and temperature of stainless steel pans prior to adding oil.The probe can be used for internal temperature of fish meat cakes etc so very pleased with it.

Great new kitchen toy, and great for cats.
Only had it for a week, so no idea of durability. Seems to be accurate, instantaneous result . Probe works exactly the same, superb. And while it says not for humans, you can put the probe under the armpit for testing body temp. Just be careful.

Works for cast iron NOT stainless steel
Probe temps are similar to my inkbird. Bought this for IR and being multi purpose. Works well for cast iron pans....but not at all accurate IR temps when used on stainless steel pans, even when the emissivity is changed. Constantly gave readings less than 200C not matter how long the pan was on the hob. I assume its the reflective surface....so now I resort to the leidenfrost method for my stainless steel pans.

A bit hit and miss with accuracy…
As much as I wanted to like this thermometer it didn’t convince me that I could trust the readings, which as an important and main feature of a thermometer, this would put me off from using it…

Takes the guesswork out of cooking!
This is a brilliant piece of kit - takes the guesswork out of cooking and gives confidence when cooking, especially things like poultry

Easy to use and appears accurate.
This thermometer appears to be accurate and has the dual function of being able to use the probe and infrared. I got it to measure the temperature in my fridge by putting water on different shelves and using the probe to measure. Very effective by telling me what temp I should select for the fridge, as a result I know which shelf to put the various items on and my milk lasts much longer now.
