I’ve tried countless sunscreens over the years, but Sky and Sol truly stands out. The first thing I noticed was the clean ingredient list—no chemical UV filters, no artificial fragrances, and it’s made with grass-fed tallow and non-nano zinc oxide. That gave me peace of mind, especially since I have sensitive skin. I love that it goes on so nice, and leaves no sticky residue!!! I am not a big fan of the traditional sunscreens, I feel they have too many chemicals, so I am glad to be able to have found a great sunscreen that I feel safe wearing and putting on my body! It does come in a smaller container, and you do pay a bit more for what you are buying. I think the pros outweigh the cons!

I have tried EVERYTHING in regard to sunscreen that doesn't burn my eyes. My eyes are super sensitive to smell, and they burn, sting and get blurry when I wear most everything. I always avoid my eye area, but it doesn't make a difference (if it's on my nose, it's too close). I can't tell you how much research and money I've spent trying different products.Sky and Sol does the trick. It's not perfect, but I can wear it without my eyes burning. As with any mineral sunscreen, it's very hard to remove. I use Jojoba Oil and a mild cleanser, wash off with very warm water, and repeat with the cleanser. It's very expensive, so I only use it on my face and use a makeup sponge to apply. It does look a bit chalky at first but disappears quickly.

I really appreciate a safe sun screen and I’ve used this brand for over a year now. I have found that if I leave a bottle outside (in the heat) the consistency of it can be a bit thick and it won’t absorb as well. I figure this is a user error though, so it doesn’t deter me. I do try to remember to keep it stored in the house, though. Under normal circumstances, I find that it does absorb into your skin so that you don’t show a white film on your skin. I really appreciate the safe ingredients; that’s the most important factor for me.

I love this sunscreen! Once you put it on you feel like it isn’t even there. Having read some reviews, I recommend rubbing it between your hands for a second before applying. It initially leaves a white cast but within minutes it is gone. If it does last longer then it didn’t get rubbed into your skin very well. Yes, comes in small containers but if feel like a little goes a long way. I am fair skin and burn easily, I got the 50 spf. It works great. I leave 4 stars on the fact that you need to read the reviews on application to avoid the white cast.

Working in the healthcare industry I like to use clean products on my family and myself, and this sunscreen is it! There is really no smell to it, but it does prevent burning. I do wish there was a little clean natural scent to it, but it works and you should use as directed. It does come in a smaller tube then store items, and it is a little pricey. I love that it is clean and safe to use by my standards!

Shocked by how much I love this sunscreen. I have eczema and sensitive skin…as do my children. Until I tried this, the only sunscreen I could find on the market that didn’t make me break out in a rash was SuperGoop! Although it is better than some sunscreens you get on the market, it still had a lot of ingredients. Then I got a targeted ad for this sunscreen so many times I finally pulled the trigger for our Disney trip! No one had an eczema flare. We wore it in the pool and in intense heat. Not a single sunburn all week and I don’t even feel like we were that diligent about reapplying! I thought it would smell weird and give me the ick…but it had no smell at all and although a thicker texture, went on completely translucent. No white residue or any residue for that matter. I was shocked! HIGHLY recommend this sunscreen. Now I need a bigger bottle!

I just barely received my order 2 days ago and used it twice. About a dime size each time for my face and neck. I was able to shine a light through from the back of the bottle and it appears it’s only half full of the sunscreen. I paid more for this sunscreen than any sunscreen in my life and only get half of the product. I am really disappointed in this experience of wanting to try a more natural sunscreen and from a company who is raved about thinking I made a good purchase then getting gypped by the seller in the amount of product I get. I have another of their products I wanted to buy but may change my mind if I pay more money for that product and only get half the product. The convenience of sky and sol thru Amazon was most exciting because I am very cautious of websites storing my info and selling it which I know amazon does but the less websites I have to purchase from the better. So I am hoping (fingers crossed) this is a one off thing and sky and sol doesn’t deliberately charge good money for their product and then give the customer less than what they paid for. I am hoping this sunscreen really works for my sky because my skin breaks out with mineral sunscreen and I don’t want to use the chemical based kind. Sorry for the long rant. Just sad at the experience.

I have sensitive skin and was worried this would make me break out, but so far, so good. It’s not greasy but it does feel slightly tacky after it dries. There’s truly no real odor which is good for those who don’t like scented things. It doesn’t seem to leave a white cast either, but I’m more fair skinned so maybe it just doesn’t show up on me. I wore it while exercising outside and it seemed to protect my skin. I don’t love washing it off though. It definitely took more than a “quick rinse” to feel like it was washed away.
