It's a nice hot drink. A lot like coffee, but without the caffeine. So I can drink it all day, and still get a good nights sleep.

Having been diagnosed with a haitus hernia I can no longer drink coffee. This is a really good substitute. IT IS NOT COFFEE although it resembles the very mild bird's coffee that I remember from the 70s. After discovering this product along with little CAROB bars for sale on Amazon I feel less deprived. Now for my daily salad doused in a couple of teaspoons of Bragg's organic apple vinegar which also helps, and a slice of wholemeal bread.

Very healthy especially with the Magnesium addition

I find Barleycup Organic Chicory Cup to have a very nice coffee-like and slightly sweet taste, a perfect replacement for coffee after meals and as a snack drink. One very interesting thing that I have noticed is that it helps with the usual sugar/chocolate cravings I usually experience after meals also helping with my digestion. When drank sometime before a meal it has helped decrease my appetite, and although I have only been using it for 1 week, I can only presume it will help me lose a little bit of weight in the long run, an unexpected health benefit of chicory root that I was not aware of. I fully recommend it!

It's tasteless and not worth it

Tastes great
