I bought this heated comb to help add fullness to my hair, & thought it was going to be useful. It doesn't curl hair, but adds a bit of lift. Until it doesn't. It wouldn't heat up, so I figured it needed re-charging. I plugged it in, & left it over-night to charge. Only it didn't charge. It's dead as a hammer, & useless as .... uh, I'd better skip that metaphor, but let's just say, it does not appear to be able to turn on again. And as I wondered why my Amazon site was not giving me the information to return this malfunctioning almost new product, I realize that the option to return this piece of junk ended.... yesterday. The joke's on me.Most everything I buy from Amazon is terrific. This particular purchase is a dud, but I can't blame Amazon. The product came in a sturdy, well-designed box. It included a velvet-ish bag, & two hair clips, & charging cord. It has the appearance of a quality product. I just happened to receive one that only worked once, & apparently over-heated itself, & some element inside.... broke.And it's not that I wouldn't ever buy a product from this company again. It's made in China, & honestly, most Chinese produced products are well-made, & long-lasting. I think Porta-Pro likely makes great hair tools. Just not today.

This has been a lifesaver for travel! It's compact, not super heavy and allows me to have great hair on vacation. Great heat and charges fast! Good quality and works well! Why did I take so long to purchase one of these?! No more ponytail or buns!

Sooo, out of the package, it feels sturdy, it heated Very quickly. The problem is where they thought a good place for the on/off, temp setting button should be, WTH were they thinking????? It's on the handle where you touch the whole time you are using the product. I inadvertently changed the temp almost every time I put the blasted thing to my hair. It gets 3 stars for actually doing a good job with straightening my short tired old hair, but the frustration level of trying to keep my hair from frying..... I see that a lot of these are designed this way. I would avoid them all. DO BETTER designers

I love this brush, is super easy to use and is portable, is a must after I cut my hair short, but works well on long hair also. The heat is just enough to straighten your hair but not do any damage, I have very thin hair and it works well for me, My only comment is that the battery doesn't last very long, but is very easy to charge

I bought this straightening brush since I am traveling a lot this summer and wanted something smaller than my full size brush. It came nearly fully charged. I used it at home to see how well I would like it. It has a little weight to it which makes sense since it has a battery in the handle. The weight is not a problem and I feel it actually is more comfortable to hold because of it. I have fine, thin hair just above shoulder length so I use the 160° setting. It heats up very quickly. Some have said the control buttons are in an odd spot on the handle and get pushed unknowingly. This is true but I adjusted how I hold it and don't have a problem. I find I prefer this smaller brush rather than my full size one. It allows me to achieve the style I want so much easier without a cord to deal with. It holds a charge well giving me about 4 styling sessions. I don't like to run out of charge so it might last even longer if used until drained. It doesn't take very long to fully charge. I bought the fun pink color and am so glad I made this purchase. Oh and it comes with a fabric travel bag to carry the brush and charging cord. I wish I had bought this sooner!
