Needs a dimmer for nights; and, sometimes it doesn't connect to Satellites.
These are good, and mostly dependable. I can live with the little inconsistency of connection to satellites. If there is too much fog, or cloud cover, you will start driving away and there is no speed read out. Sometimes it comes on as you are driving, and other times it may be 10 miles before it makes the connection. That being said, it only happens maybe every 7th drive -- and its usually due to cloud cover I believe or dense fog. I have bought similar devices like this, and they all seem to have this problem.

A little slow to sync but works well. Needs a dimmer though. Blinding at night
