The bars were very tasty. Nice texture and crunch with a little chew to them. Good amount of protein in each bar (10g) and not too high in calories. Good size and easy to eat on the go. Bars were sweet but not overly so (between 1-5g added sugar depending on the flavor).

These bars have a light, crispy texture that’s really satisfying without being too heavy. The variety pack keeps things interesting with different flavors to try. They’re a great grab-and-go snack that feels like a treat but still has some protein.

I've tried my fair share of protein bars, and most of them feel like a chore to eat—chalky texture, artificial taste, and a general lack of enjoyment. But the Mezcla Puff Crispy Protein Bars are a total game-changer. They're genuinely delicious, with a light and crispy texture that's more like a rice krispie treat than a protein bar.I love that they're convenient and actually taste like chocolate. All the flavors are fantastic, too. I've tried all of them and they all taste incredibly natural and satisfying. My favorites are Matcha Vanilla and Maple Blueberry. It's hard to believe something this good is also packed with plant-based protein. They're the perfect guilt-free snack for a post-workout refuel or just a midday treat. I'm so glad I found a protein bar I actually look forward to eating!

These are delicious! I bought them because I am trying to increase my protein intake, and these came up as a suggestion. I'm glad they did! The flavors are unique and delicious, and the pea crisps give them a nice, pleasing crunch. They are not too sweet, and I'm glad the sugar content is on the low side. I also like that they don't contain lots of chemicals, I can read and recognize all the ingredients. Sadly, they are too pricey for me to buy regularly at about $3 a bar, so I won't be getting them frequently, but they make a really nice treat!

I was lucky enough to chance upon these when they were 40% off. I had wanted to try them, so I got the pistachio chocolate flavour. I'm allergic to whey (dairy), wheat and soy, and these have none of those ingredients. I prefer Mezcla's use of pea protein because I find it the least gritty, and the least discernible in terms of taste. These are fantastic consistency and flavour. I suspect it's because most ingredients are organic, and because Mezcla supports The Hunger Project to end world hunger by 2030. While all that is noble, for me it translates to paying (normally) $3 for one tiny protein bar. I cannot afford that, as I eat a protein bar every day. I suspect there are others like me who are in the same boat. I don't know how long Mezcla as a company can afford to support the Hunger Project, which consumers actually pay for, while still making a profit on sales of their protein bars. For me, I will only be able to buy them on the off chance that they go on sale. :(

Buyer beware: If the sugar content is important to you, the stock photo as it stands (showing 3g sugar and 1g added sugar for the pistachio chocolate) is INCORRECT. The 6g listed in the Amazon description IS correct - it is 6g sugar, 5g added sugar. I'm attaching a photo of the nutrition facts provided on the bar.OK, that aside: this bar is delicious. You can taste the pistachio, as well as an almond marzipan note, and the texture is a dry crispy rice. I would actually choose this as a candy bar. The 10g protein for 170 calories is not bad (oh yeah, the photo also currently incorrectly shows 160), and it is pea protein, which works well for me. I eat these in between dance classes and have no digestive issues.The inconsistent advertising of the calories and sugar is really the only issue I have with these ... kind of a big deal for a "health bar" from a consumer trust perspective, hence the three stars ... but if you're not really counting on those, they really are tasty!

These are perfect! They are light and delicious, yet somehow have 10 grams of protein and under 200 calories! This is the perfect snack for me to help sustain my energy in the morning when commuting to work. My husband and I love them, my personal favorite is the Hazelnut Chocolate! I feel really satisfied but not weighed down with heavy protein, it feels light and delicious!

A WARNING- the hot chocolate flavor is "HOT" chocolate because it has chili powder listed as an ingredient lol. I was caught off guard by the weird burning aftertaste.Bars are nice and crunchy- a very good texture. Not too sweet- in a way that is good for some adults but would probably be bitter to children. In the variety pack the flavors are hit or miss.
