It does what it is supposed to do.
The size is a little bit taller than the average blender. To make the perfect slushy you will need more salt and ice than the instructions stated. Easy-to-use. If you are a true slushy person, do not be surprised if it is not enough. It only make 32 ounces. Don't over fill with ice. The ice do melt. You don't want the salt and ice get into whatever is use for the slush. I think it is worth the cost. Quality is fair. Easy to operate. One button to operate. To make a great slushy you have to make sure the ice is cold by using salt. I use ice cream salt.Remember to close the dispenser or you will have a mess and no slush. I will purchase again.

Glad I bought this
We have used this a few times and it works just fine. I wish it would make more at one time but that is not the manufacturers fault. It is noisy and you really want it to go the entire party so people can get slushes all night but it is noisy. We have tried different alcohol in it and it froze, also, just like any other drink.

disappointed
I do not recommend this Product. I was very disappointed. I poured my liquid in and after 45 minutes it was still just as liquidy as it was as of when I first poured it in. It never did make it a Slushy.

Inverter isn't large enough to run the blender.
Last night we were so excited to use this for the first time on the boat watching fireworks. Got everything loaded up, plugged in the 12V inverter and turned on the blender. Started up and then DIED!!!! The inverter was cycling out. Not enough power . Now, I was running this off THREE (3) Deep-Cycle AGM Marine Battery Group 31. MORE than enough power, but nothing. When I go homes, I plugged it in and worked fine, so it isn't the blender. One of the people on the boat is a Supervise for the power company and he said it was the inverter that's bad. So we'll see when I call the company if they can fix or replace it.

Does not work well - and is very loud!
The drink would get slushy next to the freezing component but the rest remained in liquid form. Also, it was very loud! I returned it.

Great Father's Day gift!
Bought this for my husband for Father's Day. Made his first slushie today-- worked like a charm! Directions are not completely clear, but we figured it out: the trick is to keep adding ice and salt during the freezing process. Be sure to let the machine run long enough-- probably longer than 15 minutes-- in order for the slushie to completely freeze.

A hit at the party!
For an inexpensive appliance, it was a great purchase! Used for a party and after the initial use to slush everything, just flip it on for a few second before each pour to mix it back up. Plus I found adding a little more ice after an hour helped keep it extra slushie. I found the key was to start by filling ice to the max line, then add drink ingredients (best to chill ingedients first so they don't instantly melt the ice). This creates the perfect icee/fine slush consistency to drink through a straw.
