I think it’s really necessary to have one of these.
I first discovered one of these because my “total water system” man had it and used it to test the water and I said what is that?I ordered it from Amazon and now I’m hooked on it.Tested the water because it’s well water and oh my God I could not believe it. The levels were so high and you don’t even know it until you test it.I recently moved to an apartment complex, and the numbers are higher than what they should be.Easy to read brightness. Functional. Quality product.

Accurate and Easy To Use
I’ve never used a water tester before, but this one was super easy to use. Just turn it on, stick it in the water, and boom—instant results. The screen is big and clear, and it tells you the TDS, temp, and other stuff.I tested tap water and bottled water just to try it out, and the numbers were decently different. I even tested it on my reverse osmosis purified water to make sure it was filtering correctly and itnworked great. There’s even a chart on the back to help you understand what the numbers mean.Overall, it’s actually pretty cool and simple to use. If you’re curious about what’s in your water, this thing gets the job done.

Good value TDS Meter Digital Water Tester
2024 All-New 4 in 1 Tds Meter DigitalGreat value, appears to be reliable enough (ball park range) TDS Meter. While it has some nice bonus features as in temperature and electrical conductivity measurements, we were primarily looking for the TDS measurements; the backlit LCD display with numbers and color makes for easy readings within a few seconds or so.Managed to test several types of drinking water from sink water to different bottle waters as well as different filtered water from different RO systems, at home and outdoor water vending machines. Since some portable home RO systems have a built in TDS system we were able to effectively somewhat compare and back test the results. Short of assuming and relying on any one single measurement by itself we took a combined approach to get a sense of their accuracies; what we found was that the TDS results were generally a little off of each other by 10-40ppm, but still in the “ball park range” so that it would make sense to use it as a gauge, rather than assume perfect accuracy.

Definitely works
I decided to get this because i was told even our bottled drinking water was having contamination issues, so i tested my faucte water and it was 233 and the brita filtered water was 148 which is high for something thry claim is clearing our water for it to be safe and the bottled water was 32 so i can say it definitely works

It works but the results are shocking!
be prepared to be shocked by some of the results. Even my tap water was scary until I ran it through the Beita filter and the number dropped by 100. My bottler Zephyrhills water also higher than I’d like even though not in a danger zone. Getting so that it’s not safe to eat or drink much these days. Why the heck is the government doing away with the FDA? G-d help us all.

Nice meter.
Easy to use, inexpensive, easy to read. Might be a nice Xmas gift for anyone with a reverse osmosis water system with expensive filters to replace. Using this meter would show you when it is time to replace those filters. Would buy again.

Inexpensive Device to Test Purity of Drinking H2O.
Easy to use. I’ve tested tap water from my faucet, water from my Brita pitcher and water from my Reverse Osmosis system. Also tested when I used water from my Brita pitcher, in my Reverse Osmosis system. There was a difference in purity of the Reverse Osmosis system, with using water that had been filtered with Brita. The lower the score on the meter, shows more pure water. The score went from 22 using tap water, to 14 using the filtered Brita water.Since Brita filters are less expensive and take out a lot of impurities from tap water (67 vs 119 for example) I’ll use only Brita filtered water for my Reverse Osmosis system. This should give a longer life to the more expensive Reverse Osmosis filters.
