My first impression of this boot was not very good. Within 1 week of purchase, both boots failed when the zip fastener spilt in front of the zip. Fortunately, the zip was not fully up, so I was able to remove the boots.I contacted the seller, who initially offered me some money as recompense or to pay towards a repair!! This was a £100 pair of boots!Not very impressed with this, I pursued the matter and sent them back (at my cost)The seller then provided me with a replacement pair.On arrival, I have added some light oil to the zips of both boots, to ensure the zips run smoothly.I have now had these boots for 2 months, and worn them for walking the dog and garden tasks.The boots are very comfortable, easy to take on and off and very practical.

Sizing is generous which I expected so as I’m usually a 9.5 (UK) I ordered a 9. The slightly wider fitting allows me to wear thick walking socks with them. Also it’s worth noting that the insoles are removable which is useful for replacing them or to add a flat filler insole underneath the insole (which I’ve done with the right foot as I have a bunion on my left foot so the right foot of wellie-type boots always feels a bit loose. They’re well made so I expect them to be durable but I’ve only used them for a few weeks. Being short they’re easy to to put on (especially with the generous strong loops at the back). They’re perfect for when it’s wet and muddy. The price I paid was discounted which made them good value

Very thin soles wear through quickly leaving little tread, slippy on wet flagstones and holes in the heels. Rest of the boots fine and intact making it a shame to have to throw away because of a badly designed sole. For the price I would expect them to last longer than 4 months. I would not buy them again.

These are snug fitting around the ankle with good toe room. A very sturdy boot, they are great for the muddier paths my greyhounds like to explore around our village. Really impressed with them.

Initially I was very impressed with these, very comfortable, perfect fit. Unfortunately I found them so comfortable and easy to put on I walked the dogs 1.5 miles a day in them, after 4 months they became uncomfortable because the soles and heels had worn down. I would recommend that these are used in the garden only and not for walking any distance regularly on roads.

These are a great boot for the garden, slip on and off easily, comfortable, I love them. Like any boot they will not fit everyone the same. They are not for walking on rough ground, paving, roads, etc as the soles are thin and do wear easily. My current pair have lasted 2 years before they wore through. They have been used on paving and occasional walks, but mostly in the garden on a daily basis.Conclusion. They are a great garden boot, easy to use, very comfortable but the soles wear too easily. Would I buy another pair, Yes but ensure they are used only in the garden or on similar grounds.

These are great gardening shoes. A little on the pricey side, but rock solid and very comfy.They are quite roomy - so if you are between sizes, I'd definately suggest the smaller size.From use so far, they seem hard wearing and completely waterproof. They look lovely too!Having lower tops than traditional wellies makes them more comfortable for long days out in the garden.As other reviewers have suggested, they are slightly slippy in the wet.

I’ve had muck boots previously but the full height ones, I purchased these for dog walking. The boots are comfy, warm and easy to put on and take off, quick and convenient. The only down side is the depth of the tread, it is not very deep and I find that walking in mud you tend to slide as there is no real depth or grip. It’s a shame as the boots are good overall I now only wear them on walks when I know I’m not going across fieldsUpdate Feb 23Having had the boots only 7 months and only wearing them on average a couple of times a week the sole is now wearing out! I wouldn’t recommend these boots, at this rate by the end of April I’ll probably be walking around in my socks!

They fit well, are comfortable, and super warm. They are also quick to put on which is great.

Super comfy boot..the Muckster is a unisex boot...so if you're a woman...size down by 1 size , or 1 and half..I sized down by 1 size b/c I wear heavy socks ...

for jumping in puddles

I got these boots for rainy/muddy days working on a farm and so far they are exactly what I need. My previous pair of muck boots was mid-calf height which kept my feet too warm on hot days so the ankle height on these allows for better air flow but still keeps my socks dry when walking thru wet grass. The soles also seem more sturdy than my previous pair which wore out after only a year. Sizing was accurate and the color is a nice rich brown that goes with a lot. Would recommend!
