Great beginner activity book with thoughtful design
We got this Cut and Learn activity book for our 2-year-old, and while she’s still getting the hang of using scissors, she really enjoys it! It’s a wonderful introduction to fine motor skills like cutting, matching, and tracing. The pages are engaging and there’s a nice mix of activities that keep her interested without being overwhelming. One feature I really appreciate as a parent is the quality of the paper — it’s thicker and sturdier than typical activity books, which makes it easier for little hands to manage and less likely to tear accidentally. The perforated edges are also a huge plus, making it easy to tear out a page cleanly so she can work on one activity at a time without distractions. While she’s still learning, we see it as a great tool for developing her coordination and patience. I can see us coming back to this book often as she improves.Highly recommend for toddlers just starting out with scissor skills or any child who loves hands-on activities!

These scissors are awesome!
I was looking for a good learn to cut book for my 2 year old and most of them have the plastic toddler scissors with the handles you slide your fingers into. This book caught my eye because the scissors are a different design and looked way easier to use for little hands. If you've ever helped a toddler with cutting, you know they flip the scissors all around and don't grasp the concept of proper hold for a long time. With these ones, it doesn't matter. They can flip them any which way and still cut paper. The book is fun as well and the pages are perforated so you can rip them out easily. I like that there are large dashed lines on the pages showing where to cut and there are actual cutting activities (eg. cut the line to the flower, cut the page in thirds, etc) instead of just cutting out shapes. This book was priced a little higher than other ones that I have found, but the scissors alone were well worth the purchase. I've found that the fiskars brand scissors always cut the best. Even these plastic ones cut through paper easily.

Love these Scissors
These scissors work so well and are perfectly designed for toddlers. I even enjoy using them myself because they actually cut so well. My kids love this work book. You can color in the pictures and cut them.

This level has metal scissors
I didn’t know this would have sharp metal, the weird locking mechanism is confusing and bulky as well. Great concept but keep an eye on the user doing it.

Perfect for Toddlers
This is the perfect activity book for tiny hands figuring out how to strengthen their grip for true scissors! The scissors won't cut your child or their skin, but they cut the paper perfectly!

Good for fine motor skills
Bought for a 2.5 year old and it was a hit! The child needed a bit of supervision but had a great time. As an OT, i love this for fine motor development
