The draw strings make these fit a large range of sizes. My 13 year old son should get a few years out of them. After his first practice he said, "I took a shot to the balls and didn't even feel it." Highly recommend.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:They were fine. My daughter just didn’t prefer them. They were a little small on her.

It is well made and very durable. Used extensively in travel league and no rips or even thread fraying. Easy to clean as well

Excellent quality. Got my 9 year old a medium so he can use them for a few years. Curious to see how they wash (I put all the lax equipment in the machine every few weeks.)

We ended up buying padded football pants to wear under these since balls that hit the thighs easily hit between the pads.

My daughter loves these shorts when she plays lax goalie. Good quality and not tight like the other ones.

I was not able to find this anywhere to try on so I took a shot and ordered a Med/Large for my 7 year old boy. He is 50% for height and 75% for weight for his age. I though the Med/Large would fit and give him some room BUT they are HUGE. We cinch the drawstrings and he is able to use them BUT unless your child is very big for his age or you are getting these for a 9 or 10 year old I would suggest getting the smaller size.Overall the shorts work well and provide the padding necessary for a young goalie. I purchased the Reebok 12K Youth Hockey Shin Guards - 9" to go along with them.
