Shockingly efficient trimmer. It’s incredible how quickly and efficiently this device cuts through a longish beard. It’s able to provide a balanced trim in 1-2 passes without leaving those pesky random long stray hairs. It’s not a replacement for a full on shaving blade, but I purposely want to have that 5 o’clock shadow look. Also helps to avoid ingrown hairs, etc.When I need to be prim and proper, I use my One Blade (amazing product that cuts so close it could pass as a standard Gillette shaving blade) but for most instances this unit gives a great cut. Also comes with a lot of attachments, which I don’t currently use, but are nice to have just in case.Last note - I previously had another trimmer and used it to line up my sideburns before doing a close shave. It was old and the blades were dull and tugged at my skin in a painful way. Don’t know why I kept using it for years past its life, but I just didn’t feel motivated to buy something new. Really glad I got this unit, because it’s a whole different ball game of efficiency and ease.

Super trimmer. So light weight but super durable so far. Have been using it for months before seeing the review ask. It's nice to be able to use a product awhile before rating. I would definitely buy this one again if I had a need in the future. Works well. Easy to use.

The one I bought in 2021 is a mixed bag of pros & cons. Better for occasional haircuts, trimming, and prepping shave after slumming several days than any daily shaving. The various head attachments work well enough for rough haircuts and beard trimming. But it is never good enough for close face shave. Its what you use to cut down several days or more of beard growth to make things easy for a traditional razor. Unless of course you are aiming for the heavy stubbled look.Price is the biggest Pro. Its also mechanically durable vs wear and small drops...though I suspect its hard plastic shell is not good versus a 3+ foot drop to a hard floor. The big cons are minor cutting bites when held at less than ideal angles like when doing underarms (inclined angle of front). So not recommended for intimate body hair unless you like having soreness from several shallow skin cuts. Also the battery is apparently NiCad or lead acid -- meaning its motor gets slow as it reaches the last 10-15% of the original full charge. Worse the max charge falls off over time and recharges. Nope its not a smart charger so the battery is further damage by overnight overcharging. If you used it daily I suspect that battery might die within a year. I got about 4.5 years out of it using it about 1 time per week. So
