Have had it for a few weeks and works great. The magnified side is great you can see everything. Great for doing eyebrows, and if something like an eyelash in your eye you can see it with no problem!The lighting on it is perfect too!

Conair does have nice quality. This is the 3rd mirror I have bought here, and I waited a while to make sure everything worked and stays working. There are different settings for the amount/type of light, and I find the lighting adequate. This is maybe a little pricier than some of the other brands on amazon, but not much. I think you get what you pay for. The other ones only worked for a couple of months, then the lights quit working, and/or the plug in quit working. I would definitely recommend this mirror.

What can I say! Wow! Great light controlled by the on-off button for muted light, brighter light and really bright light. The button on the right changes to the different light settings of day, office and home. Mirrors are perfect with no distortion. The magnifying mirror is awesome. You can see every pore, every tiny blackhead and the smallest eyebrow lengths. I didn't know what I was not seeing! The tilt of the mirror is great too, especially for seeing eyebrow hairs. So totally happy with this mirror!

A pretty good light. I like that it plugs in. Many others run on batteries. Looks nice and has good lighting, but the optics are inferior. The magnifying side creates distortion and is not the same quality as other magnifying mirrors I've used.

I had an older version of this mirror for many years until it broke but there was only one light option. I got this mirror to replace it and love all the various light options on this one plus this version is lighter weight so easier to move around. I noticed some comments think the magnifying side is too strong, this is a MAGNIFYING MIRROR, that's the point. This mirror is 10x magnified on one side, if you don't want that string there are other mirrors with less magnification. I got a cheaper mirror for awhile that was not nearly as good as this one and the magnified side was not as strong and I hated it. I want to see every wrinkle, spot and speck on my face and that is what you get with this mirror. This is an EXCELLENT makeup mirror. The only change I would make is to make the cord clear like the old version, the cord is black and sticks out like a sore thumb, not sure why they changed the color.

Have not had good luck with usb type mirrors so decided to go back to the wired type even though they are 2 to 3 times more expensive! Why is that anyway? Have owned many Conair products and one very similar to this previously. The only thing I didn’t like was that the light does eventually burn out. No problem though because Amazon carries replacement bulbs. Anyway, this mirror is pretty much perfect. It is super bright on its brightest setting and also has three warmth settings, if you like that feature. The magnification side is great. I can even see to pluck those wild eyebrow hairs. The mirror is nice and big. Can see all of my face easily and it’s the perfect height on a counter or vanity. Can even see just fine to dry and style hair. The only odd thing I’ve found is that on its brightest/highest setting, you can hear a tiny motor whining. I’m guessing this is a micro fan that comes on to keep light from overheating, although, I’m not sure. I just turned it down one setting and the noise stops. So if something like that would bug you, it’s just something to be aware of. Otherwise, I’m sure I’ll get many hours of use out of this mirror. No more usb lights for me.

Had a 10x mirror from TJMax which was good but my eyes are getting bad and I need light. It's large enough to see whole face. 10x mag is high quality. The lights are what sold it. Total of 6 functionality options with 2 switches of light; each one does exactly what you expect. I usually use bright light on both settings but office light and evening light is helpful too. I use it to remove unwanted hairs and apply eye makeup easily. I like that it doesn't need charging ever. You won't be disappointed. It's worth the price.

After thoroughly researching several different brands of Makeup Mirrors, I decided to purchase another Corded Con Air Makeup Mirror. Several years ago, I purchased a Corded Con Air Makeup Mirror from Bed Bath and Beyond which needed to be replaced due to a frayed wire. It had three light settings a soft white hue for daytime, a soft pink hue for evening and a bright white hue for close up use. The attached corded wire plugged directly into an outlet. The mirror was much larger and more substantial. The new Makeup Mirror also has three light settings but by using LED lights all three settings are bight and artificial looking. There is no soft white hue for daytime or soft pink hue for evening. The cord is rechargeable and needs to be charged often therefore, forget recharging I just plug it into the outlet when I use it. The entire mirror is smaller and much lighter weight. I didn't return it because all of the makeup mirrors, I reviewed ran on batteries or had rechargeable cords and came with only one or two LED light settings. This was the closest I could get to my old mirror and it's far from perfect. New and improved is not always better.
