Epic! So Awesome
I have had a heads up display in my car for the last 8 years. My old one finally bit the dust. I looked to buy a new one expecting to spend $150-200 but I was so surprised that this one was less than $30. I ordered it and have been using it for a week now and it is so excellent. Installing it was a breeze and as soon as I installed it, it started working wonderfully. I cannot take pictures of it because the film you put on the windshield reflects but I can tell you that this product is a 10 out of 10. There are 6 different display modes. I chose display 2 which gives me mph, compass direction, & time. I cannot figure out how to change the time for daylight savings but I'll figure it out. The speed is legitimately perfect. Impressively so. The compass works great. So many features, so easy to use, and I am so impressed.

Works great... sometimes
This was easy to install and I bought a hardwire kit so I could tap my fuse box and hide the install. Looks great, used 1/4 inch black plastic auto wire conduit (about 4 inches worth) to hide and protect the exposed wire on the dash area from direct sunlight damage and make it look clean. The unit comes on when I turn on my car and gets a satellite signal within 10 seconds so by the time I back out of my garage and drive to the end of my street it starts working. I had to follow the directions to fix the speed calibration and it is dead on the correct speed now. I have had it installed for about a month now and it is getting very hot here in the Dallas TX summer sun. It gets covered by my sun shade while it is parked at work. Not sure if this is due to heat but my wife and I took a drive out into the country a few days after I installed it. It did well for the first part of the 3 hour round trip but on the way back, it locked up on 0 mph and 7:00 and that did not change until I restarted the car after we had been back for about an hour. It did not do that again until yesterday when I was at lunch. I got back from lunch, turned the car off, went inside for about 2 hours then it did fine on the ride home, no issues. Not sure if this is heat related.I am able to see it without using the provided reflective static window cling used to reflect the light better during bright day light but I may try the cling soon to see if it helps during the day. Also, the unit has an auto dim for night use that helps a lot and looks nice. It looks the best at night or sun rise, sun set. The numbers for MPH are big and easy to see even without my glasses. I can also read the smaller clock without glasses. Its hard to see the compass and the timer numbers. Looks really good with my glasses on, very clear and looks very clean. Unit is black and very small and blends into my black dash. For the price its a nice little gadget but if I were to buy another I would get one that attaches to my OBD port and use the cars computer data to get speed and other info but also has a GPS to give a compass. Maybe $10 more.Nice little gadget. Easy way to make an older car feel a little more up to date and a newer base trim level car feel a little more luxury.

Above 55
Speeds above 55 mph are not accurate. Driving through town, it works fine.

The perfect thing to buy for an older vehicle
If you used to driving a newer vehicle with a digital speedometer and find yourself back in an older car or truck. This is a perfect item to buy. Very accurate and reliable. will work with anything that moves even a go cart!!

Decent Device
I don’t want to say this item is terrible, it’s not. There were just a few things I thought can be better. I wish the device were cordless. Also, the speed was about 10 to 15 mph slower ( I think that can be adjusted) but I would still need to deal with the annoying cord. Lastly, the design can be a bit sleeker more low profile.

Easy to setup, accurate, and a great value
The media could not be loaded. This unit is pretty much a plug and play type of accessory, and once adjusted is extremely accurate and enhances every drive.Initially the HUD was off between one and a half and two miles an hour as compared to my speedometer; with my speedo reading 50 mph the unit was showing 52 mph. After looking at the almost incomprehensible 'instructions' I was ready to leave it that way. Every BMW I've owned has been similarly optimistic, and you get used to it. But it was a rare top down winter day in Michigan - 66 degrees in February - and I wasn't in any rush to get home and park the car. So I drove a bit, stopped and made an adjustment, then repeated that two more times. In less than 10 minutes my speedometer and the HUD were dead on.I chose not to utilize the piece of plastic film provided with the HUD to increase the contrast of the readout, because I can see the reflection in my windshield fine without it, though it is less obvious in the daylight than at night as seen in my video. While the factory HUD in previous vehicles was more or less directly in front of the driver, I chose to locate this one almost in the center so my dashcam picks it up without any distortion, but that's a personal choice. If you appreciate having a simple HUD, this is an excellent choice.

Read before you buy.
So I got it today, I went to install it in my Rouge and it looked awesome. But trying to go through the manual set up, I realized the base did not stick to my dash even though I just cleaned it.I never got a chance to actually use it because my dash is bumpy and the adhesive just did not adhere to it.Might work great for a different model, but did not work for mine.

You get what you pay for
Make no mistake, this thing is not perfect, but I love it!The one I received is calibrated perfectly for speeds under 40MPH, but at 70+ it runs 2-3MPH fast. (When it says 78MPH, I'm actually going 75MPH.)Aside from that, I can see it well in day or night without using the reflection sticker. It boots up quickly enough, and it holds connection as well as can be expected when you get into tunnels and such. The direction arrow was confusing. I expected the arrow to rotate to show which cardinal direction I was headed, but instead the arrow remains pointed upward and the words North, South, East, and West turn on/off. Again, not perfect, but good enough.
