This zester is perfect! Easily removes the zest without pith. I've tried other zesters (including another from Amazon that was highly rated) but invariably they ripped and tore the fruit hacking off the pith. I just got this one today and had to try it out right away. It is amazing - easily removed the zest with no pith - great addition to my kitchen.

This is an essential kitchen tool for zesting and grating. You should have at least 2 of these in your kitchen at all times. I use them almost daily. They stay sharp, the handle makes it easy to hold and they are easy to clean.

I have used this for Zesting Lemons. It is a pleasure to use. Sharp and zests easily. Very precise, as you can zest right to the fruit without piercing into the lemon. If you've been zesting with a grater, you'll love switching to this. SUPPORT AMERICANS WORKING IN AMERICA!

Have not used this yet. I bought it because BonAppetite said it is the best for grating ginger.

I cook a lot- daily - and a lot of my recipes use lemon zest. I've been using a box grater until a friend told me about this brand and this contraption. Technically I didn't need this, or so I thought. But... OMG - in 2 seconds you can zest a lemon and not get any of the pith - like in the box grater. The only thing is that the sleeve is kind of difficult to get back on and cleaning it is a bit difficult as you have to be careful not to shred your sponge.
