How much need for 13 lt tank

That is a very small tank so a 2kg bag is more than enough. I have a 40ltr tank and one bag is plenty.

Hi I would think you would need 25 kg for a decent cover but they do these in 8 kg bags which works out a lot cheaper but myself I don't use gravel any more I have turned to using sand as it is much more compact so very little waste or debris gets into it as with the gravel with all the wee gaps between the gravel waste and debris gets down into it much easier plus if you have bottom feeders like plecos or such it's a lot kinder on there wee mouths and feelers They do sand in quite a few colours as well. I have found the difference unbelievable hope this helps good luck with your tank micheal

is this gravel small and soft enough for cory cat fish to burrow into?

I have don't own Cory cat fish so wouldn't know but absolutely would not recommend the gravel to anyone, even after rinsing several times leaves water cloudy and is also contaminated had several fish die almost immediately after adding the gravel to fully cycled tank
