Well built versatile tripod, value packed
I have used other models of KF tripods in my work which were also used by different people, some of those not familiar in the use of tripods. They have always found them easy to use, and have stood up to some abuse as well. Which is why I chose a KF tripods for myself. This one doesn't disappoint, well built very stable and easy to use. This has a multitude of adjustments so you can position your camera just right for the shot you need. The detachable leg to use as a mono pod gives you added versatility in its use.The protective case supplied is well padded with good quality zips and carrying handles and includes a shoulder strap for easy transportation.I would recommend KF tripods to anyone who wants a good solid versatile tripod but doesn't want to spend a fortune on it.

Kook K&F
So I'm in the market for a tripod. Hmmm....but which one to choose? There's hundreds - and if you're easily swayed by the Youtubers, camera shops and magazines, the only possible way forward - unless you're a complete newbie - is carbon fibre. But take one look at CF tripods and you'll see that they're at least £200+ - probably nearer £300.Can I warrant paying that? No. So it's going to have to be an aluminium one. Let's see what's available.Hmmm....what's this - 'K&F Concept'....never heard of them. If I've never heard of them, they can't be any good, right?WRONG!I ordered this tripod because of the range of options it has available -- Ball & Socket Head;- Invertable (is that a word?) centre section to get camera down to ground level;- Ability to mount centre column at right angles;- Option to unscrew one leg to become a monopod;- Quality (and I mean quality) carry bag;- Centre hook to hang bag/weight on to improve stability. And it had 10% off when I bought it!It's a well machined piece of kit. It feels good. It's not heavy - but it's not lightweight either. It feels reliable. The legs invert for carrying/storage so the head of the tripod is hidden by the folded legs. Unhinging the legs gives you the option of several 'click-stops' for setting up.You can get your camera down to ground level with this - or up to about 6 feet.I love it. Great bit of kit - and a bargain price too.I've since learned that K&F also make CF tripods - it might be worth a look at one of those if that's the way you lean...

Surprised!!
I bought this tripod for a couple of events shooting video and stills. Did not want to go cheap as I need it to withstand travelling and being thrown about/bumped into, but did not want to spend a fortune as it will be thrown about and bumped into!! I chose this one as it is tall, so I can shoot above the heads of a crowd if needed and also has a detachable monopod.First impressions when it arrived was how solid it felt, not very heavy but more solid. The bag that comes with it is really well made, it is not just a thin cheaply made freebie, but a good quality storage bag with a comfortable strap.I noticed how smooth the legs unfolded and the center column rises and falls, the engineering is good and everything is tight and positively locks in place. Two of the best features that you don’t see on many tripods are that you can lock the ball head, but has a separate screw that loosens to let you pan, and also the way the center column can be changed to horizontal. I did this and it gives a better and smoother pan (more control for video), also good for landscape photography when creating a panorama.I am 6’3” (190cm) tall and even when I stand on my toes I cannot see through the viewfinder when fully extended, it is a tall tripod!! It closes up to a really compact size, the center column inverts so the camera can be placed almost on the floor if needed. The only negative I have is that the instructions are very basic. It gives the use, setup and warnings but there is another small tube and screw that I have worked out is used when changing to monopod. It is not a big issue and can easily be worked out, but with the quality and detail in the rest of the product I think that this could be better. The most important thing is that I feel confident putting my expensive camera and lens on this tripod without any worries. I would definitely replace it with the same model if this one was stolen. One very happy customer!!

Top quality product for a very reasonable price.
My first impressions of this product was very good. When taking the product out of the box I was surprised that the bag that covers and protects the tripod was very high quality. The tripod itself is compact when packed away, and as I was first setting the tripod up I was impressed with the feel, weight and the quality of the product. It is reassuring that I will be trusting my camera equipment to a well built and sturdy tripod. The versatility of the tripod is a photography dream. The ease of the twist locks on the telescopic legs make setting up to the desired height a breeze. The monopod as an extra feature is a bonus that many more expensive tripods just don't feature. Being able to set the camera mount up in multiple positions is great. The ability to mount my camera as low as possible brings with it an amazing way to shoot low level pictures that suit wildlife subjects. The boom arm was needed to undertake macro photography and this was sturdy without any shake. Just what is needed when their is limited access for the tripod legs. I did like the hook that lets you add weight to the tripod, not that its needed unless the weather conditions are severe enough.Overall I am more than pleased with this tripod. It will be a great addition to my equipment. Will it turn me into a world famous photographer, no (unfortunately) but it will give me more opportunities to improve the quality of my photos and bring different perspectives to photographing subjects.
