Works Great! Great Quality! F150 Ecoboost
Much needed for Ford F150 Ecoboost. I was skeptical of how these work for some reason so opted for this cheaper oil catch can but when I got it, I noticed it is not made cheap and is of great quality! The ONLY thing that I would suggest, is a better quality hose, but the one included work just fine, especially considering the price point. Plain and simple, it works and works well, easy to install and well worth the money, I already showed my dad and brother who also have Ecoboost trucks.

Great value for the money
Previous owner of my car had done a complete PCV system delete, and capped off the PCV valve. Very unhappy with his handiwork, I went and got this catchcan so I could get that valve back into action without dumping oil into my intake. Install was pretty easy. I was fortunate enough that there was a capped-off threaded hole right where I wanted to install this catchcan, so it took me all of about 15 minutes.-The good:1: The can is nice and airtight. I wanted to recirculate my air back into the intake manifold instead of dumping to atmosphere, so I needed the can to seal up properly. With the engine running, I pulled the little dipstick out of the catchcan. It was getting held into the can under a decent amount of suction, and when I did pull it out the car showed signs of a clear vacuum leak. Replacing the dipstick stopped that up in a hurry, so if it does cause any leaks, it's trivial.2: Can is well machined. Metal if pretty thick, threads are cut well, and everything fits together very well. I am quite impressed.3: Works quite will. Emptied the can after about 3 months or so. Caught a good amount of oil in there, all which would have been dumped back into my intake. Glad to have my PCV system back up and running and seeing just how much it's actually doing.4: Great price, and it includes a number of fittings.-The bad:1: difficult to unscrew the bottom container to empty the oil. not much to grip on.2: There isn't much baffling inside the can so separate the oil from the air. An air stone or something like that would probably go a long way to take this up to the next level. That said, it definitely does catch oil.3: surface finish is pretty chincy. Easy to scratch. While that shouldn't be a suprise, this thing is function over form. Don't put it in a show car. That said, it doesn't look bad when new. But it already had a dozen nicks on it by the time it was installed in my car.4: Included hose is garbage. I wouldn't want it sitting too close to any hot engine components and trust it not to melt and deform.

Shot in the dark!
This unit is very well built, even with the necessary de-burring of the inside holes. I used this on my lawn tractor as a lot of oil was escaping from the crankcase breather system. It would flood my carburetor, so I installed this and routed the flow around the carb and through the filter on this unit. Worked well, sorta. This engine has the exhaust valve on the right side and when you lean the mower to the right it smokes badly and oil can flow fairly freely from the valve. This causes the container to fill up quickly and then the excess oil flows out the filter, all over everything. I will run the outlet of the unit back into the carb and hope it is at least slowed down a bit. The unit did exactly what it was supposed to do, great unit. Guess I may have to overhaul the engine or quit leaning right.

There was no logic applied to the mounting bracket that comes with the catch can
I've been installing "Chinese knock off" stuff my whole life. You compromise a lil quality to save a some money. Usually that trade off is minor but not with this thing!!!Seriously.. this catch can would take 5 minutes to mount if it had a mount that allowed access to the screws.. smh whoever engineered this was either terrible at their job or specifically making the install more difficult than it needed to be for no reason.. anyways it's of good value I guess, not nearly enough hose is included and again the mounting bracket is pure evil..

Great oil catch can!
Very good oil catch can! It is perfectly fit for V6 3.3L Kia Sorento, the only minus is too short hose. For my application I used 3/8 hose from parts store, 2x 32inch. After 100 miles it is oil already on the bottom, small film but it is there not in my engine. Highly recommend!

near top notch
Quality made product. All the hardware you need for quick installation. The hoses are sub par, though

Great product
Installed this on a 2006 350z with rev up engine. Looks great and works very well. I purchased an L bracket and attached the can to the bracket and the bracket to a mounting hole for the OEM air box. Installation as I did it looks very factory. PCV to can's inlet > Can's outlet to intake manifold (next to pcv). As others stated, use your own 3/8th fuel hoses and add thick steel wool inside it to help its inner operation. If anyone needs pictures on a 350z let me know.
