This is very efficient home treatment for ears with a lot of wax. The q-tips are deemed harmful to ear drum and the new recommended method is to wash your ears during shower with warm water. This essentially does the same thing. I like that it's manual and simple to use. Nothing would come out if you regularly clean your ears. I'm going to try it on my daughter since she doesn't properly clean her ears during shower. I wished they included more tips since they are one time use only and earlier model used to include a bulb to extract excess water and a towel.
