Works no matter how much pressure I applied it did not tear the skin. Also no issue with attacking it only drill never came loose. Perfect size no need to over pay this is what you need. Simple easy to use. I held the wings and used this tool didn’t hurt my hand at all it. Best for the money.

Easy to use, works great. Durable, great value for price. Quick to install. Been using it over a year and no signs of rust or damage. Cleans easily and most importantly cuts feather removal time down drastically.

Listen to this and other reviews about getting you water temp just right. Cause once it’s there, this will have those feathers off that bird in no time at all. This made the job so much easier. Just be prepared for the feathers to fly. LoL

Honestly performed much better than I thought it would! No it doesn't clean every feather off, you need a good drill, and it takes a little getting used to, the feathers go everywhere. But for processing 5-10 chickens, it's worth it. It cut our defeathering down to about 5-10 minutes. Great price and easy enough to use.

We ordered this last minute as the plucking machine we rented would not turn on. This was our first time to ever process our own chickens so we didn’t know what to expect. I will say it definitely helped speed up the whole process. If you’re working smaller scale this will be sufficient. Even larger scale it will work just obviously won’t be as fast as the machine. Shipping was as expected with no delays which is very important to us when ordering from a company and in this case as we needed it the day before we ordered it lol Overall durable and lightweight, beginner friendly, easy to clean. Don’t let the small size fool you either.

It doesn’t grip the feathers well, unless it’s the very fine little feathers, which just fly all over the place and make a mess. Honestly, plucking by hand would be less effort. 2 stars because it looks nice.
