I have used a simple paper mask to spray a large field in recent years and often found I had a slight taste of the chemical in my mouth afterwards.I realized I need something better and after reading reviews I opted for this mask/respirator.Does it work? Undoubtedly that's a yes.I have sprayed in conditions I wouldn't have normally with the paper mask and it is clear now that I am not inhaling any vapour or particles. I will be using it for painting in closed spaces and some other jobs I do as well from now on.The fit: this is going to be a very specific to an individual's face and what they find comfortable. The materials used in the mask part, which I believe are silicon based a very comfortable on the face. With the straps and the design I find it very comfortable myself. If you have a large face maybe a slightly bigger nose than average then you may begin to notice some discomfort but this is pure speculation on my behalf.It is easy to use and also easy to clean down after using to wipe off any overspray and wipe out inside the mask.It's easy to assemble and disassemble and replace parts to which is a bonus.The comfort really will be down to the individual themselves but in terms of providing safety and peace of mind I cannot fault this respiratorIt is one of those things you wish you had bought years ago when doing jobs but I never imagined I could get something as effective as this for this price

Wasn't sure which mask to order to use whilst airbrushing. Happy to say, this fits the bill. Once adjusted it remains comfohrtable and fits over glasses.Happy with my purchase.

Just the job for sanding, and in time I’ll also use for airbrushing. Easily adjustable and as comfortable as these things are ever likely to be (and better then breathing dust!). Only issue is that the only source I can find for replacement dust filters ( the mask manufacturers) is really pricey - no idea how long the supplied ones will last (and why supply 5 for something that uses them in pairs…). Recommended at the price (especially the price I paid :-))

Used while spraying with acrylic rattle cans. Easy to use. Very pleased with it's filter properties, you can't even smell the paint.Good price. Would definitely recommend fo hobby and small jobs.

This seems to be a good mask for everyday respiratory protection at an accessible price. It is important to fit the additional particle filters over the gas filters already fitted. The mask fitting round the nasal bridge would be more comfortable if it was gel-filled rather than folded rubber. I found the written instructions are too small to read. Once the particle filters are fitted the irrespirable air to be found in certain parts of London becomes breathable again.
