Had my doubts about so many spools for the price. To. my amazement, the spools fit and are very sturdy. Better and less expensive than the Home Depot replacements, I'm very satisfied.

Good price. These always work well in my Ryobi battery powered trimmer. The line thickness is a good balance between being able to trim tough weeds and damaging fence or siding. I like having back up spools so I can trim around our garden, house and two large out buildings. Additionally, I have ordered these 6 to 8 times in the past two years.

EDIT: I will never restring my own again. This is super easy and works OK.The string will sometimes get stuck and appears almost melted into the other strings. I have about two spools where it is impossible to remove the stuck end, otherwise, I have to stop what I’m doing undo the connecting parts and pull the stuck end of the spool and feed it through the hole. All in all it is easier than winding a spool, I’m not sure why but my own hand spun spools do not do very well either. I use a Ryobi weed eater.

Thus far the trimmer spools and line have not lived up to expectations. The spools have fit so tight in my trimmer that the line was very difficult to remove from the trimmer due to broken line. One spool of line seemed to have "fused" inside and had to be cut out. I have had some success by unwinding the line, attaching both ends to keep the line taunt and leave it in the heat at least one day. That worked pretty good today. Soaking in water 48 hours might work. I would much prefer to give a numerical grade after more testing.
