This works so good on my hair! I have medium hair, medium porosity and my curl type is 3A.

It works, so be patient

My hair seems clean after using this and I can't get enough of the smell! Not sure how much it "helps" my waves/curls but it surely doesn't hurt and it's not breaking the bank. I like to also put some conditioner in a hair water/spray bottle and mix it with water when I refresh my hair.

I have curly/wavy hair and it can easily get weighed down with certain products. Umberto Giannini Curl Jelly Shampoo and Conditioner does not. My hair is long and of medium thickness and this products works well and does not weigh it down. I also style it with Umberto Giannini gel. Highly recommend.

As a licensed hairstylist and a type 2C/3A curly girl, I love trying out new curl specific products. I’ve heard great things about this brand and was very excited to try it out myself. Upon using it I’ve found that both the shampoo and conditioner smell very nice and clean. The shampoo was a bit drying but I also live in the desert with hard water so that combo wasn’t great for me personally. The conditioner did feel nice and moisturizing and not super heavy in my hair at all. I still followed up with my normal curl products afterwards and didn’t notice too much of a change in frizz level or definition so I would say this is a decent base line shampoo and conditioner! I do plan on trying their more hydrating products to see how it differs but if you’re looking for a standard duo I’d say try it out!

Shampoo- not too bad I guess. It seems to do what shampoo is supposed to do, but very drying. Also not even slightly color safe so beware. Strangely impossible to rinse out. I had to whip my shampoo brush back out just to make sure i got it all. I'll maybe finish this bottle but I'd never buy it again or recommend it to anyone ever.Conditioner- so very awful. First put it on and slip was out of this world so I was super hopeful. Smells nice and thought it'd be great. Noper. Weirdly expanded on my head like spray insulation which was weird but I was still hanging on hope. Rinsing it out I actually had to read the bottle several times because I thought I was sent gel by mistake. It made my hair sticky and stiff and bone dry. Apparently things can be both wet AND crunchy. Doesn't help a tiny but with frizz either. My hair was frizzier today than it's ever been and living in the south that's saying something. Will be immediately throwing this bottle into the nearest active volcano so that no one else might accidently suffer the same fate.Would not reccomend either of these products to anyone unless I really didn't like them which is a shame because the gel from this line is actually not bad at all.

Smells good, good consistency, but I didn't see a whole lot of difference in my curls using this combo. I have not tried their gel though, so it may be different if I did.
