What is the accuracy of the scale +/_? I want to measure puppy over the growth period. :)

Mine was pretty accurate. However, You can buy the same scale three times and get different answers. I suggest weighing a dumbbell And going from there.

Is this backlit? Does it have a built-in measuring tape?

No tape...and I use it during the day so I don't know about the back lighting.
