Well made and complete with concentration tip for small areas like canker sores and a carrying case
I have read some negative reviews on this item, but so far, I have only one complaint. One battery lasts for several doses and it had a good charge on it when it arrived. It comes with a nice protective case so convenient for travel. I used it for canker sores that developed after having a molar pulled. I've always thought a red light was just a gimmick, but I do believe it shorted the healing time. I could feel a tingle where the light was applied after a few seconds. My only complaint is with the carrying case itself. For canker sores, I use the concentration tip to direct the light to the sore. Unfortunately, you have to remove that tip every time you want to put the device back in the carrying case. The tip screws on with very fine pitched threads and the device is aluminum. I would have preferred that the device could be returned to the case with the concentration tip still in place.

If you are experiencing cold sores, BUY THIS! NOW!
Simply put, this device WORKS. I noticed significantly marked improvement less than 8hrs after the first treatment! When I first received this device I was in so much pain, and there was a huge lesion on my lip, and some redness. After using this device, the lesion has mostly dissipated. the redness has significantly reduced, and there is no more pain.It has gotten even better with the second treatment. I'm not currently using any antiviral medication because I did before and nothing really changed. It went away for maybe a day or two, then came right back, which was frustrating. Especially because before this year, never have had to deal with cold sores. So, I'm only using an immune health support supplement, and taking some NSAIDs, in addition to using the red light therapy.I'm so glad I took a chance on this device; it is definitely a game-changer. For first 24hrs I am doing 3 treatments per day for 5 minutes at a time. By day 2 I would like to be doing 3 treatments @ 3 minutes a day.For those complaining about the price, please do your research on the top brands for these kinds of devices before complaining. This one is practically a steal and I would encourage grabbing one before it catches on and they raise the price. The main leading brand for this type of device costs $350 before taxes; So the price point for this one is barely ¼ of that, if that. Not gonna lie, the lower price actually made me a bit skeptical, but I took a chance anyway. I'm glad I did, because it seems to work just as well as the top leading brand that is $350.Also worth noting, I did also use it on my top left foot, due to having a little pain when I first got home from work last night. I used it on that area for around 3 minutes, and by the time I woke up today, the pain is completely gone! Mind you, I did not take any pain meds before going to bed last night! It's literally as if the pain was never there! And usually this pain can last for a couple days! Already gone after one treatment! Will update if there are any issues, but so far, so good. This thing is a lifesaver.Update: it is now 2025 (originally purchased around this time in 2023) and this device is still working well and going strong. I haven't really needed to use it in the last couple years, but recently, a mini-flare-up came about, and I'd remembered that I had this bad boy in my arsenal. Surely enough, within 24hrs of using this, the flare-up went right back into remission. Even though there is already a noticeable difference, I'm still gonna continue with doing 2 treatments per day for the next 3 weeks or so, since it's recommended to do it for 3 weeks even if you already begin to feel better. But I'm just glad my lip feels nice and smooth again. Also wanted to mention that when I'd initially put this device away, I charged both of the batteries first and then put them in the case. When I went to use it 2yrs later, the batteries were still fully charged and ready to use. So I'm glad it's not like some batteries where you may charge it, store it for some time, but come back to it and the battery is drained completely and needing a charge anyway. Just something to note. I'm glad I got this device, and will continue to rely on it whenever there is an issue. But so far it kept me good for 2yrs after the initial set of treatments! Highly recommend. And as stated, it has many other uses as well, such as back pain or other pain in general. Even helped with subsiding some of my bloating that I experience during that time of month. So it comes in handy for a lot of things.

Tashi Red Light Therapy Device – Worth It!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this little device has been awesome! I originally got it for cold sores, and if I use it early, they heal way faster. The red light really helps with inflammation and pain. What really sold me, though, is how well it works for pain relief. I’ve been using it around my spinal surgery area, and it actually helps take the edge off. Not a magic fix, but definitely noticeable. I also like that it has a removable tip, so it feels more hygienic when using it on different areas.Super easy to use—just turn it on and hold it over the spot. I’ve even tried it on some joint pain, and while it’s not instant, it definitely helps over time.Overall, really glad I got this. Handy little gadget to have around!

Good quality
It comes very well organized and in a case with all the different attachments. The instructions are very helpful! My husband uses it everytime he has a coldsore. I look forward to finding more uses for it.

Game changer for pain relief
I was skeptical at first, but this red light therapy device has completely exceeded my expectations! It looks like a flashlight but comes with a detachable tip, making it versatile for facial therapy—targeting cold sores, canker sores, and fever blisters on the lips, as well as treatment for the mouth, nose, and ears. But the real magic? Pain relief. Once the tip is removed, it transforms into a healing powerhouse for neck, shoulders, wrists, fingers, knees, and joints. My husband used it on my back, hips, shoulders, and neck, and the difference was unbelievable. My pain went from a 9 to a 5—something no other treatment had achieved so quickly. As if that wasn’t impressive enough, it even got rid of my migraine when I applied it to my temples, forehead, and neck. I haven’t used it for ears, nose, or mouth therapy, but based on its effectiveness elsewhere, I wouldn’t be surprised if it worked wonders there too.If you’re looking for natural pain relief and healing, this is worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Not effective
I had high hopes for the Tashi Red Light Therapy Device as a solution for cold sores, but unfortunately, it did not deliver the results I expected. The design is compact, and the instructions are straightforward, but after consistent use, I did not notice any improvement in healing time or symptom relief. The red light seemed weak, and despite following the recommended usage, it had no noticeable effect on reducing pain or swelling. Additionally, the battery did not last long, requiring frequent recharging, which made the device inconvenient to use. Given the price, I was expecting something more effective, but sadly, this device felt more like a gimmick than an actual solution. I would not recommend it for cold sore treatment, as it did not make a meaningful difference for me.
