Hisense WFQA1014EVJM 10kg 1400rpm LED Washing Machine [Energy Class A]

We recently purchased the white Hisense 5S 12kg load Washing machine (WF5S1245BW) from Amazon.The amount of programmes on offer far exceed our requirements. The machine cleans clothes really well, but some programmes exceed 2 hours, some up to 3 1/2 hours.What we (and most people) require is the option of a relatively short wash and a 1400 spin, which unfortunately isn’t an option with this machine. The Quick 15 wash turns to a 30 minute wash when using a 40 degree (maximum) wash and 800rpm (maximum) spin cycle, which is not ideal when using the dryer. To combat this, I carry out a separate (12 minute) spin at 1400rpm after the main programme has finished.If you have the matching Hisense dryer, you can use the WashDry Sync option which transfers the wash programme to the dryer.The programme we find works better for us is the auto wash as it weighs your clothes, washes and dispenses detergent and softener as required. Using this option, you can have a 1400rpm spin and a wash in normally under an hour (depending on load size). Also using this programme, you can add extra options: prewash, steam, extra rinse etc.To date we have not used the steam function, but I will do an update once this has been used.The auto dispense detergent and softener really help and we have now moved to liquid detergent. Up to now we have only used the auto dispense option, letting the machine decide how much detergent and softener is required during each wash. Using this setting, the softener required refilling after 5 days (10 loads), but the detergent remains pretty full (we have always said we use far too much detergent and softener, and hopefully the amount we use going forward will reduce). The amount of detergent and softener used during each wash can be changed in the settings. If you like using scent booster pellets and/or Oxy powder, these can be added to the main (powder) detergent drawer each wash.The ConnectLife App is a great addition but requires an update as remote access to the machine is removed after each wash when the washing cycle finishes and the machine shuts down. You have to re authorise the remote access to the ConnectLife App from the machine using the connect button, which defeats the object of being able to use and monitor the machine remotely.Having used the machine for six days, it is a great product but not without its faults/niggles.Of note, we also purchased the ‘matching’ white Hisense 5S 10kg load Dryer (DH5S102BW) which sits next to the washing machine in our utility room. We are very disappointed that the washing machine and dryer are different shades of white even though they are both 5S models and are advertised as a matching set. If these were on display in our kitchen, I would very disappointed with the difference in shade of both appliances.Beware of the colour shade difference if purchasing the matching dryer.

Previous washing machine was just over a year old and despite being a well branded one, horrible, programs began to fail and had a siren like alarm to tell you when a cycle was finished, used to wake up from my sleep, had to physically get up to go and open the door to stop the alarm from repeatedly going off, cba to repair, so much wrong with it, I bought the brand thinking well known brand it will be reliable, I was wrong. It only provided parts and techinical warranty. this one has been working from day one, it is intuitive and the programs work so far, one beep when it finishes and that's it, it was cheaper than the old one, got it on special and 2 reduction price sale and black Friday at the same time.So far no problems, I pad for amazon to install and take the old one away, very impressive service, just one recommendation, they left the old inflow pipe on to leave me a spare, but as it turned out the old pipe was leaking and I had to pull it out and replace it with the new one, not worth keeping the old one, saving time on them installing, but even though they did a short test, it wouldn't pick up that there was a leak until I started noticing my dog was doing big pees are the washing machhine, turned out to be a leak from washing machine.

The machine is Very quiet,all you can hear is the water filling and sloshing the clothes. Looks good and us easy to use.However the wash programmes are 2-3.1/2 hours long. So not great for a busy working family who needs it done asap. As many times as possible.however the end result was great. I could tell the difference from my old machine to this machine, everything is deep cleaned, I was shocked at how my old machine wasn't as good as it was almost 3 times the price over 10 yrs ago.It has a wash setting for duvets, pillows etc but the door opening seems a little small.The delivery guys were awesome. Took out the old put in the new and it's solid not a single vibration even on fast spin. They were polite and efficient and professional.

AWESOME washing machine!It’s soooooooo quiet, I have to keep checking it’s still switched on and working! VERY simple to use, love the handy 15 minute wash when you need something super quick. Love that it checks the weight of a load and adjusts the time/water required to suit the load weight. ABSOLUTELY LOVE the size of it, it fits sooooooo much in and very roomy. Fantastic updates the whole way from ordering to delivery, kept well informed and even had a phone call from the delivery crew to say a more accurate time for the delivery. Lovely delivery people that happily took it to the exact point I needed it to be. Literally cannot fault anything, I can highly recommend this washing machine, the company it came from, and the delivery service they used. Best price was on Amazon for it too, its worth the money.
