I brought this product along with seachem prime to cycle a new aquarium.If you use this daily for a month then you should be able to cycle your tank without Ammonia or Nitrite spikes.

i can't atest as to whether it will fully cycle a new tank, but, i can however recomend it for bacterial die off in older tanks with lazy owners like me who forget to hoover their gravel or clean their filters often, as long as you follow the instructions to the letter it will have an old tank back to fully cycled by the end of a week, i recomend the 500ml bottle rather than the 250ml its only a few pounds more but it will last you up to 4 years and its useful when you add new fish.

I already had an aquarium of tropical fish, when I upgraded and needed the cycle kickstarted so I didn’t have to keep the old tank up and running for as long because I don’t have the space. It certainly helped keep the tank stable and healthy and when ammonia rose or nitrites then it was great at keeping them at a stable level as to not cause any harm. I could. Move my fish in earlier and my tanks doing better than ever. Also am amazing water conditioner as well. You know if you have any nasties it will keep them non toxic while you have the chance to rectify the issue.

This product helps keep your aquarium in tip top condition.You don't need a lot so in that sense it is economic.It is excellent in helping establish a new aquarium and in helping maintain stable water parameters.
