Magic in a tub for great value
I have 2 senior cats (13yrs old in 2 months), and inevitably as they age they’re developing health issues.Ziggy has Feline IBD (think Crohns Disease or Ulcerative Colitis in humans) which I’ve managed to keep under control with a high protein diet, I feed him tinned food from Thrive and no dry food whatsoever, but whenever he brings up a hairball this aggravates his system and he’ll be vomiting for several days after, he’s a pretty furry cat but he only needs a small amount of fur in his sytem to set him off so it’s far more frequently than his brother brings up hairballs.Tiggy has issues with his anal glands, this started about 6 months ago, he’d be scooting his bottom on the floor and licking a lot more than usual, he didn’t seem distressed and it would only be a day at a time, I didn’t know what it was at first but thought I’d just keep an eye on it. It kept happening about once a month and I noticed his stool was harder than usual and smaller, and a little smellier. The last time was different, he got very distressed and was really struggling with going to the toilet, I think it was causing some pain and his scooting became a bit frantic, so I did a bit of reading and figured it out as being his anal glands, so I took him off to the vet who confirmed and expressed the glands for him. Tiggy suffers anxiety pretty badly after we all lived in a violent household for some years (free now), and the trip to the vet really set off his anxiety, it was heartbreaking for me and so decided to have a look into any natural ways of managing these gland issues to avoid the distress of repeated vet visits.I came across this and it looked promising coupled with reviews of success with anal gland issues. Plus, I actually have Crohns Disease myself and the human equivalent of this product is a drink called Fybogel, which is a safe fibre for intestinal issues so I immediately felt safe in trying this product for both of my boys issues. The way it works is that when it comes into contact with the liquid in the gut it becomes like a slimy gel which lubricates the intestines and helps waste to slide through without issue and without irritation, very helpful to avoid inflammation with IBD and puts less strain on the anal glands so they can settle down and start working properly too. They’ve been having it now for about a month. Tiggy hasn’t had any issues with his glands whatsoever, his stool now looks normal and there’s more in the box (I never thought I’d be happy to have more poop to scoop), no scooting and no extra licking. He’s using the litter box without distress and without straining. I’d say I started noticing a real improvement after about 2 weeks of this daily. For Ziggy, I gave him this in the hopes that he would start passing his hair in his stool rather than vomiting it up. So far so good, after a month there’s only been one hairball up and it was tiny, there wasn’t any repeated vomiting after from irritation either which is fantastic. It also seems to have helped his acid reflux which is a part of having IBD, as I’ve not noticed any on the floor since he started this.I use half a scoop each day (for those who’ve said the scoop wasn’t in the tub, I thought the same when I opened mine, but I emptied the tub into another container and the scoop has actually settled to the bottom of the tub), I don’t add any water to it, just mix it in their food (my boys only have wet food) and they eat it all up, they took to it straight away so I’m guessing that it tastes good as Tiggy is more than a little fussy with food!So far, I’ve been giving this to both boys every day for a month and we’ve used about a quarter of the tub, so it should last about 4 months, which considering the benefits and the price of the tub, it’s more than good value, and to see to happier furbabies makes it priceless

A Game-Changer for Digestive Health
I've recently started using the Protexin Veterinary Pro-Fibre for my dog, and the results have been outstanding. This supplement has significantly improved his digestive health and overall well-being.It's easy to administer; simply mix it with their regular food, and my dog didn't hesitate to eat it. The high-fibre content has helped to regulate his bowel movements and improve stool consistency, which has been a relief for both of us.One of the standout features is that it's not just a fibre supplement but also contains beneficial probiotics, which promote a healthy gut flora. This has had a noticeable positive impact on my dog's energy levels and coat condition. If you're looking for a reliable supplement to support your dog's digestive health, I highly recommend Protexin Veterinary Pro-Fibre. It’s a fantastic investment in your pet's health and happiness.

No more anal gland issue
Life-changing supplement for our dog’s anal gland issuesI’m incredibly grateful for this product – it has truly made a huge difference in my dog’s health and overall comfort. My dog used to struggle a lot with recurring anal gland problems. We had to visit the vet regularly to have the glands expressed, because they would constantly fill up and clearly bother him. He was often restless after meals, licking his rear excessively, scooting across the carpet, and just generally uncomfortable. After some research, I decided to try this fiber supplement and added it to his daily food. After about two months, I started to notice a real change – he was no longer licking or scooting, and seemed much calmer and more relaxed after eating. Most importantly, we haven’t needed a single vet visit for anal gland expression since then! This supplement has helped his stools become firmer, which means that his glands are naturally being expressed during bowel movements – exactly as they should. It’s been a total game-changer for both him and us.Highly, highly recommend for any dog owners dealing with the same issue. It’s an easy daily addition to meals, and the results speak for themselves. Five stars and a big thank you!

My dog has problems with his anal glands and this was recommended to me by my vet but was very expensive to buy from them. I found it on Amazon much cheaper . I use one spoonful a day on his food he doesn't notice . I am never without this now. Very good product..

Brilliant tip from our vet
Our dog was having so many issues. We couldn’t pick up her poops as they were just gross. Her food is great for her and many suggested it was an allergy. A new vet joined the surgery and suggested we try this before paying out for tests and within a few days she was perkier and having healthy bowel movements. No more washing down the streets as we go. I don’t often say something is excellent as it’s all subjective but this has been a game changer. No more squish and gagging. No more dealing with anal glands. Just a healthy dog. Highly recommend if your vet suggests it. It is expensive and I wish they had deals or sales but fact is it works and works really well.
