Comfortable to wear and offers moderate support
I've had this support a few months and have worn it on and off when my ankle is causing me most pain. My ankle has internal scar tissue that impinges and causes swelling, particularly after after walking on uneven ground - even wearing walking boots. When it gets bad, sitting for long periods (for my job), causes swelling that exacerbates the pain.At the suggestion of a consultant I tried a number of supports, including lace-up ones, but the others I tried just made the pain worse when walking. This ankle support provides enough compression and a moderate amount of support which does seem to help keep the swelling down. It's comfortable enough to wear for long periods and not so bulky that it can't be worn inside boots or shoes. It's got no rigid lateral inserts, so is not going to prevent ankle inversion, but it's not claiming to be that type of support. For that, something like an Aircast A60 or Thuasne Malleo Dynastab (neither of which I've tried) would be more suitable). As for longevity, at some point it will need replacing, but that's just the nature of the contruction - there's only so much wear that stitched fabric tensioned by elastic straps can take. It seems to be well made with reasonable materials, and at this price point offers good value for money. You could easily pay the same (around £10) for a slip-on neoprene support with no adjustment.Everyone's ankle (and injury) is different so what suits me might not suit you, but overall, I'm pretty pleased with this.

Great Support Post Injury
Tore two of my ankle ligaments and was required to rest for three months before the cricket season. Have since worn this while bowling and felt no aggravation to the injury. For the price, would thoroughly recommend to anyone coming back from an ankle injury and looking to protect the weakened joint.

It works very well
, I damaged my left ankle by kicking a table leg in just the wrong place. I was reduced to hobbling about my home with a walking stick. Because i then favoured my right leg when hobbling my right ankle also became very painful. I bought two ankle supports one for each ankle. I estimate I could walk about 50% better. No longer using the walking stick, best money i ever spent

Ankle hurt more.
The ankle thing is ok, not great as it's really tight and if you just had ankle surgery it may make it worser. Ask your doctor first. I am weight bearing and it's so tight around my ankle and causes me more pain. The item does not fit that great there a gap in the back when you put it on. The only good thing I can see is that the velcro is pretty good it's sticks and does not come off but that's like almost every new footwear that uses velcro at first so that nothing amazing. I myself can't recommend it as it's not going to help the people that need it the most. Like people that just had surgery it maybe to tight for most people. Weight bearing it seems ok it does help abit but i am weight bearing better without using it.

Easy to use
Just received it recently. So far so good. It seems comfortable and easy to use. Holds the ankle tight. The only thing if you have sensitive skin like me, you’ll have to get a sock before wearing it otherwise it will hurt you at the back (Achilles).

Adjustable
Great product. So flexible and easy to use. easy to adjust and take on or off. I get swollen feet and this was brilliant for the days my feet were a bit more swollen.
