Good
The Western Digital 2TB WD Blue 3D NAND Internal PC SSD has truly transformed my computing experience. With its lightning-fast speed and ample storage capacity, it's been a game-changer for my system. From the moment I installed it, I noticed a significant improvement in the overall performance of my PC. The SATA III 6 Gb/s interface ensures that data transfer is seamless and efficient, while the M.2 2280 form factor keeps things compact and tidy inside my computer. What really stands out is the blazing read speed of up to 560 MB/s, which means that loading times for applications and files have become virtually non-existent. Whether I'm working on complex projects or enjoying my favorite games, this SSD handles it all with ease.I can't stress enough how much I love this product. It has not only boosted my productivity but also enhanced my gaming experience. The 2TB storage capacity is a blessing, allowing me to store a vast library of files without worrying about running out of space. If you're in the market for an SSD, I highly recommend the Western Digital 2TB WD Blue 3D NAND Internal PC SSD. It's reliable, fast, and has made a world of difference in how I use my computer. Don't miss out on this fantastic upgrade!

Huge Improvement in Speed
I bought this to improve storage access speed in an ASUS GL552VW-DH71 laptop PC, which was always disappointingly slow, but had become almost unbearable over the years. I don't know what the problem was, maybe bad sectors and a lot of error correcting going on, but after starting up and logging in, hard disk utilization would be pegged at 100% for 5 - 10 minutes, even after de-fragging, so an SSD was the obvious way to go. 1TB is more than enough storage space for my needs in this computer, so at 80 bucks (I see it has gone up $10, but still a great price) this SSD fit the bill perfectly.Just as I had hoped, the PC is very usable now. Even though it is an "ROG" computer (Republic Of Gamers) I don't use it for gaming so I can't say how it would do there, I just use it for productivity apps and things like Audacity (audio editing), email, web surfing, viewing pics and videos, etc. and it works great now. This SSD is a very worthwhile upgrade from a magnetic hard drive.

Perfect storage for my "new-to-me" X1 Carbon!
I just got an excellent deal on a 3rd generation Lenovo X1 Carbon laptop. This is my third Lenovo PC and my second Lenovo laptop. It has a QHD touch screen, 8 GBs RAM, weighs only 2.5 lbs and I got it for $99.00! The Core i5 CPU is faster than the i7 in my Lenovo x230! The only downside was it had a 256 GB M.2 SSD, so I ordered Western Digital's 2TB WD Blue 3D NAND Internal PC SSD - SATA III 6 GB/s, M.2 2280 and exchanged the two drives. Macrium Reflect cloned my Windows 10 install and apps over to the new drive very quickly, and it's working perfectly in my new X1! Plenty of room now to add in anything I want. As for the M.2 SSD I took out, it's installed now in a $20 USB A/C external drive "shell", so I have some external storage almost for free. The price and specs on this WD M.2 SSD compared to current pricing on Samsung's storage options made this buy a no-brainer, and you give up nothing in return. It's right up there in speed, while it saves you a bundle!

Memory card is installed in a Clouzen Tainer
I use this memory card in a Clouzen Tainer, an archiving system for photographers. It was recommended by the manufacturer. It installs easily and performs perfectly. The price is reasonable as well.

Good ssd drive
I originally thought I was buying NVME not a standard SATA drive. Now, I know why it was so cheap. Still, it works well and is fast enough for me. I doubt I wll ever upgrade.

A really good midrange SSD, if the price is right
Short versionPros:Has a DRAM CacheDecent performance and price for a midrange SSD5-year WarrantyCons:Non-discounted pricing is atrocious250G version is not the best dealLong VersionAs someone who frequently refurbishes old hardware others throw out, I tend to ignore the "midrange" of SSDs. Either I'll buy something ridiculously cheap (like that time when a 128G ADATA SU650 was at $16), or spend <$50 on a 256G NVMe and throw in a budget 500G SSD when they dip under $50 or an old hard drive. Generally I would stay away from the more "premium" SSDs since smaller capacities aren't that good of a deal, and as a student I would prefer to spend less on hardware that I'm not going to use daily. If it is hardware that I either care about or something I use heavily, I'll probably just go for something from Samsung, Micron, or a SK Hynix Gold when Woot puts it on a discount again. This time however, I had a 2012 Macbook Air where the original drive it came with was really showing its age, especially an unresponsive keyboard during login, so I decided I would swap out the drive while doing some overdue maintenance, using a SSD adapter for the 2012 Macbook Air. Compared to the original drive (which I forgot to take a screenshot of the test results), the sequential read performed better, from ~430MB/s to ~490MB/s with little change for sequential write. However, the system was quite smoother (less stutter that was caused by the drive), and even though it doesn't hit the advertised speeds, I'm still very happy with the upgrade.Generally the WD Blue is actually an SSD that I would recommend my friends to buy if they're on a bit more of a budget, just because it's not outrageously priced, the warranty and performance is pretty good from past experience, and it has a DRAM cache which makes it excellent for a boot drive. It's just not something I would buy normally because of the use scenarios I have. Would I recommend it? Yes, as long as you're not paying for more than ~$70 for the 500G version and you're not considering the smaller capacities. >$40 for a 250G SSD is a bit steep, and the only time when the 250G version became a good deal was when one of my friends bought it at $45 each on somewhere that's not Amazon (which is a horrible price), but they accidentally shipped him two drives and they got to keep both.
