After brewing can I turn off machine by pushing brew button?

Yes, When I push the "Brew Now" button to start brewing, the button lights up and stays on during and after brewing. When I push the button a second time, the light goes out and the machine is turned off.

Why after just 2 weeks it stopped working ?

First one died in less than 3 months, its new replacement just died in one year...JUNK.

Does the dot light next to the time indicate am or pm?
